Quote - Vendors of superconforming clothes should include a note in their product descriptions and read-me's, something like this:
"This product will automatically follow the corresponding dials on V4 -- as long as you always use this product fresh, as if for the first time. If you save it back to your library, the superconforming function will probably be broken. Sorry."
CleanCR2 will set the superconforming back on. The utility exists because we put so many morphs in our clothes and having to repair each ERC instance by hand in 50 MB cr2s each time I tweaked a joint parameter or Mike made a new JCM was making me a little batty. Mike took pity on me, and CleanCR2 was born.
So that one part of the problem, at least, is easy (and free) to fix.
Do not use it on the original CR2 **especially **if you are repairing someone else's product, just to be on the safe side. Always make a copy.
I hope this makes your Poser life a little easier. :) At least this one small problem. The larger issues in this thread, maybe, maybe not? I needs moar coffees to make an assessment.

Or, remembering you from "back in the day" (as my daughter would say).
I think I said it pretty well in that re-introduction post:
"So... be afraid? Naah. We're just old people who make virtual barbie clothes."

This was a quick doodle I did a few months ago. It would have really gotten addictive for me (I used to be a Bryce abstract junkie) but I got sucked back into Poser.

Yes! And it looks every bit as fun!

Quote - Nope I would not hold my breath for DAZ figures anymore. Start looking for alternatives that are compatible with Poser or switch to DS.
DAZ has stated they do not plan to stop supporting Poser, although they plan to stop supporting older versions of it (and other software).

Quote - All Kozaburo's links are dead at the moment. The only place you can find something is www.sharecg.com.
Something is kooky, then. I'm on Koz's site now from the link my wife posted.

Nope. Not your imagination, and not the path of a Renderosity hosted file.

When Mike saw what I posted earlier in this thread, there was much mirth.

Quote - So screw the customers we don't need them?
I certainly hope that's not how most people would perceive what I was trying to say.
It's a good thing I am not the part of our team in charge of marketing. :-)

You're right, RM. In addition to possibly being seen as spamming or review-begging, it tends to make some think you're less successful than you are.
When I was a kid my father and I watched football every Sunday. Sometimes a player would score a touchdown and freak out, dancing, pointing his finger, taunting, etc... My father would say to me, "Son, remember what I'm telling you. When you get to the end zone, act like you've been there before." Then Barry Sanders came along and demonstrated such class. In my opinion, he was the best running back ever. Each time he scored, he simply handed the ball to the ref and walked off the field. He acted like he'd been there before and would be there again.
Many years and hundreds of Poser purchases later, I received a thank you letter from a merchant. Part of me was pleased to be thanked. But, another part of me was like, "I've never been thanked by a merchant before. Is this merchant not used to getting sales? Do they think I might be their last sale?"
My point, in addition to RM's point, is that merchant thank you letters are a double-edged sword.
