In preview mode(OpenGL), will they fix the poor performance with lights and dials? Because Poser Pro have a better performance compared to Poser8 and Poser Pro 2010.

This is the original thread where the first ATI problems were noted.  There is also a screenshot of what the program is suffering with the ATI cards in OpenGL mode.

Again, 10.4 release of the ATI drivers is available on the AMD site, but it crashes my system when installed and Win7 will not boot until it is removed and rolled back to previous driver.  I have installed all Windows updates and everything in between.  Apparently AMD is still having some issues with OpenGL.  Shock and awe I know.

If anybody has anything new, please post it here and not in old thread.

• remove old Ati Drivers
• reboot your computer
• Install your catalyst dirvers. (64bit or 32bit version)
• reboot it again when installation is finish
• be sure to update the windows "Preformance System" score.......

You are right but the same scene is working perfectly on Poser Pro and then loaded in poser 8 you have "lag" effect on it. :)

Simply, expand your paging file and you will solve your problem. ^^
