Thread: Photo-realism... | Forum: Vue
I have used 3ds max, Maya, Mental Ray, VRay .. you name it. The most photo-realistic interior image I made, at least I think so, was with ---Vue 2---, som million years ago. But I must admit, I haven't worked with interiors for a while.

Thread: Exporting Vue 4 pro Sky or Scene into 3ds Max 5 | Forum: Vue
Don't have vue pro, but File ,Import should work. Don't think you should use merge, since that is a "max only" thing. The skies I have used, looks better when rendred in vue and not max. Especially the volumetric skies. But it takes 30 times longer though.

I always use vue 4 (not pro yet) when creating skies to 3dsmax images and animations. The pro version probable works a lot better.

Darn, I was sure I had an image of spots and moving heads, but it was gone. If you can wait to Monday I can load up some stuff in the Free Stuff.
Thread: Vue d'Esprit contest 2003 STARTS TODAY | Forum: Vue
Lol. It is a contest with and about vue, not poser or anything else. It would be the same as taking part in a 3ds max contest, and use Maya to do all the modeling but do the render in 3ds max. Do you realy think you would have won that contest? Vue is play and fun, that's why people use it. And that is the reason why we know how to construct both items and materials. Not because we "work" with it. Got all the "goodies" to do that :)
