Well, i too have used Bryce, and from experience I belive that unless you're willing to spend hours looking on the internet for models to create interesting landscapes i think abstract is the way to go.

Here's a pic i made in Bryce. (mind you it took 3 hours to render) LOL

And if you wanna switch, Vue is the way to go.
PS: I suck at bryce too.

How about making the car more reflective? Also, if you cant do it in vue, have you got photoshop or something you could manually add reflections to your car rooftops? It might not look as good but it might work. Hope this helps, AlphaOmega1

Remove the sun and use radial lights, they can be found in the create panel up in the top left. Perhaps use a volumetric radial on the lamp... just a suggestion. Hope this helps. AlphaOmega1

Try increasing the pictures saturation, or the contrast. Try tweaking some things in the image options menu.
