Well the obvious answer is if it does worry you don't link your Windows user account to your MS account, or unlink it if you have, use the standalone version of Office (which is still available) rather than Office 365 and don't store files on Onedrive
Thread: La Femme 2 Lite Now Available | Forum: Poser 13
On that subject was looking it over yesterday and IIRC the fingers on the default walking pose (havent checked the anim) seem a bit wonky as well as well, particularly the right small finger on the mirrored pose. Makes it look like she hurt her finger and it should be in a splint. More of an annoyance really.
Ed terrible lighting, need to fix it, but its just a test scene
Thread: How do you rotate a texture in a Firefly or Superfly Material? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Thanks! Works for my purposes, and a lot easier than creating new rotated textures. In the node with the texture, switch uv to vu and it should help.
But out of interest if you say wanted to rotate a texture 45 or 30 degrees or whatever, I imagine that requires adding texture math nodes of some sort. Which one would you use and where would it go?

Hmm, I was assuming the reason that Renderosity was pushing people to get onto 13 with that upgrade offer from 11 was that LF2 would be 13+ only. But if the Unimesh support isnt a thing yet, I suppose not

Am I right in saying that with older stuff without 3DLight materials, if you following the tutorials for creating decent 3DLight materials for them then you will have a material that wont look like ass in IRay and can be tweaked to look decent from there? I recall several good tuts, unfortunately I dont have them bookmarked.
On the subject of PMD's I didnt use them much in Poser and luckily I dont have much stuff which uses PMD's, just the few things from Content Paradise.

Those cardboard building kits look amazing! You could probably sell them to railway modellers.
Thanks for all the wonderful stuff you've created, and good luck with your new endeavors.

Works fine for me. You are talking about the PoserPlace V4WM, that used to be hosted at RDNA, not one of the others? Also do you have the Morphs++ injected, because I recall the base V4 acting odd without the Morphs++? Or maybe you need to rerun the script? Don't forget you need to turn off PMD's while doing setting it up.

Thread: OT-ish but relevant to everyone with an Intel based machine | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As the article says, any Intel CPU from the last decade. And seeing as it 's a hardware fault that can't be addressed in microcode, that means it will be at least one CPU generation before it's fixed in the hardware. Details of the 9th generation Intel CPU's are already known, so the design is probably too far along to fix this in them, unless they delay them and go for a 9.5th generation
At least OSX apparently already includes code that prevents exploitation of the bug and AMD is unaffected, although the fix might slow them as well, if it's a quick & dirty hack.
Thread: Help Needed - Exporting a figure to OBJ | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
If you just want to convert an OBZ to an OBJ, OBZ's are compressed OBJ's that can be opened & uncompressed in 7-Zip or WinZip. PMD's (Pozer Morph Delta's) which are rather common these days for morphs are a different story & will need to be exported as an OBJ, as you were planning.
It's a pity that the plugin for DAZ Studio 1.8 to 3.0 that read PMD's & allowed DAZ Studio to load them natively was abandoned.
EDIT: Corrected error
Thread: ZIP Files from DAZ3D | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the really old DAZ windows installers are 16bit and Win7 64 doesn't support 16 bit executables. And the newer old ones do some squiffy things that Win7 doesn't like.
At least they are finally listening to their customers about their installers, though.

on Win7 it's under C:UsersAppDataRoamingOperaOpera , so it will probably be under C:Documents and SettingsApplication DataOperaOpera on WinXP. on Linux its under /home//.opera/ no idea where it is on OSX, though

Nope, strange, not using custom css and using standard Opera settings. I'll try deleting my operapres.ini and see if that helps. That ocassionally gets corrupted and causes problems.
EDIT: Looks like that was the problem - haven't had to do that in ages, so i didn't think of it (back when operaprefs.ini was called opera6.ini).
