I wanted to stop by and say Thank You to everyone here for your words of support. Losing Michael's work is a huge loss of information and Michael's generously-given time.
If anyone here has any of the 3D Commune ZBrush Forum threads saved, could you please contact any of the Mods or Admins at 3DC? You can site-mail me here or at 3DC (Arianod).
You can't keep talent like Michael's down, though. ZBrush will be back at 3DC, better than ever.

This hits very close to home. Sylvie's site was one of the first I found when starting out in Bryce, and I still send people there for the wonderful images and objects she made. Our world is darker without her. She is very much missed. lee

I see no green in the first image, either. I do see a fuscia (horizon color) in the left windows, though. By itself the Cinema render looks neutral, but compared to the Bryce version, it does look slightly green. Softer shadows in Bryce due to atmosphere? Both look good to me. ;) lee

Sorry I missed the cube, too! It's still up, isn't it? One can never have too many cubes! And a fine one it must be. ;) So... cubes offend people? lee..confused, but chuckling..

If you're using a jpg created in PaintShopPro, this can happen. If you take the jpg and run it through PSP's Optimizer (Save Copy As), it cleans this up. This only seems to occur with PSPv8 and v9, but not in PSPv7. lee
Thread: Made the mistake of visiting Rochr's gallery | Forum: Bryce
Well, if Drac and Rudy have had those thoughts, maybe there's hope for me yet. ;) Actually, if I could pick this darn thing up, it would have been in the backyard more than a few times. I'm one of those people who has to post as soon as I finish an image. If I wait a day, I end up deleting it as total waste of hd space. Just keep following what interests you, trying different techniques and methods. No one has your particular vision, and that, itself, is worth pursuing. lee

Welcome back, AS! quote: 'And, with all that cool stuff starting to happen, I myself get to be a Bryce Moderator on the world's largest 2D/3D website? (how freaking cool is that?)' Can't think of anyone better to be in the position than you! ;) It is going to be fun, isn't it? lee.. thanking AS for remembering the neighbors down the hall..

All I can say is that I want to do rusty, worn, scuffed up things just like Ornlu when I grow up! ;) Yummy mats and irritatingly great quick modeling! lee

...or if you make it large, and put it in the middle of the ceiling, and hang a lamp from the center: very Victorian! Thanks! lee
