I tested rendered an old model at a very high resolution output. Poser 11 took longer using Dual GPU rendering. (About 14 minutes 50 seconds). If Poser 12 does use dual-card render I can't find the option. But using a single GPU card produced a faster render at around 8 minutes 18 seconds. However the lighting on the skin was different and produced no glossy highlights, in comparison to Poser 11.

No, I bought Poser because I wanted to export its figures into Lightwave. I was always clear about how I wanted to use it for that purpose.

As a user of Lightwave 2020 I am curious to know if they'll be updating any future compatibility.
As they stopped even the possibility of downloads for Poserfusion, I doubt they will be updating it.

Well, then Poser 12 would be pointless for me unless they can prove there's a smooth export into Lightwave 3D.

OK..thanks for your answers folks. . So..it sounds like if I want to get a REAL man..I HAVE to buy the Full version ? the update to la femme is incomplete ? Sighs - such is life :(
Real...yeah. I wouldn't go that far. But US$15 is a fair price for a new boy toy.

It took me a while to find it myself.
BTW: We have until December 31st, 2019, to buy the full anatomical version for 50% OFF the full price.

I have no idea. Character Creator and Headshot are too expensive for me. It costs even more than FaceGen's Modeller.

That's another item for the suggestion box. Character Creator's Headshot plug-in is the hottest photogrammetry software I've seen so far.
That looks really interesting. Can you use it with Poser?

FYI: La Femme 's face isn't available for the Face Room. Hence I'm trying to make the changes in Lightwave.

Okay, I have no intention of changing the polygon count in Lightwave. But will morphing the face make its UV Map useless? I'm planning on changing the face in Lightwave, and sending it to Substance Painter.

As a general rule of thumb it's usually best to work with a copy of the original figure OBJ file instead of exporting it from Poser ... this ensures that your figure won't be translated or scaled differently, and that the object is symmetrical and welded.
Also, when morphing in Lightwave, DO NOT add or remove any polygons from the original model. Otherwise the morph won't work.

I'm trying to alter the shape of La Femme's face to match that of the actress, Lynda Carter. So I've exported the mesh into Lightwave which has tools I'm more comfortable in using.

What about it's a permanent change in another program? Or maybe I should try fitting the actress's face in Poser and then export it as an OBJ with the UV Map?

I'd like to see some new developments in the face room. I just saw the preview for RealAllusion's Headshot 1.0 plugin. It has features I'd like to see in Poser.

Yeah. I think something like this should have plug-ins - once again I'm saying plug-ins - for all available character creator programs.

Sure, it is third party, but my point is still valid, in order for it to work in Poser you need to dedicate resources to develop a plugin, a bridge, a something, and that costs money that needs to be recouped.
