Quote - wow, havent seen the first pages, so many interesting pictures! hope bobs wound picture is closed now, had to do with this kind of wounds many years, was nurse for many years past times... now something that brings summer feelings;)
The wound is still healing and should take another 6 weeks or so to finish if everything goes as expected. In late January it was originally about 2.5 x 3.5 inches and maybe .75 inch deep depending on my position. Not really a nice thing to be sent home with after a colon cancer surgery, even though the surgery was 100% successful. Here's hoping I don't bring the same thing home after the kidney cancer surgery in a few months.

Quote - Wow Bob, very interesting shots. She must have really hard callouses on her feet, or no nerve endings!
She put on a really entertaining show. Very dramatic expressions, and with some humor thrown in. Like dancing "over" the glass to start by dancing on one side then jumping over the pile with a big flourish and an ear-to-ear smile. (I got those shots too, but with a three shot limit I had to pick the uploads carefully.)
Instead of hard calluses or dead nerve endings how about running the glass pieces through a tumbler with polishing grit until all the sharp edges are smoothed off? You could still get poked a little, like walking on gravel, but at least there wouldn't be any bloody footprints in the grass.

Thread: Questionable photo contests. | Forum: Photography
I've seen similar contest rules and license releases at other places. This is the first one I've seen mentioning "moral rights" and I had to go look it up to see what they mean. In general I don't mind giving them the right to use a photo I submit as a contest entry for other uses, but I don't like that they can edit the photo into something completely different that I didn't submit and I don't like that they don't have to identify the photographer. Those are two things I think they need to do just out of respect for the people who submit entries.
