Thread: Rendered Image's color is off | Forum: Photoshop
I reinstalled PS6 on my machine, the coloring is normal, but it still happens in PS7. I had my dad mess with the settings (he works with ps7 all the time) but he doesn't know what's wrong either. He's thinking that it has to do with P4's rendering and then the image not being compatible with ps7... I have no idea. But, I'm going to be using ps6 for now.

Hm... Well I'm using a gradient in PS6/7 for the texture (light green going to dark green) and it doesn't look as smooth as I thought it would be. It does look blocky after Rendering, but not that bad. Also, for the P4 female texture, when I make her eyebrows and lips, they **smear** when I load the texture on the figure. I have no idea how to stop this **smearing** from occuring. Any more thoughts? Oh one last thing (I promise!), how can you make the P4 female's eyelashes NOT thick or not real looking? So far I've seen no tutorial on fixing this. Maybe I really ought to get V2/V3... ps - Copy and paste the link, brinkster is a meanie about that now.Thread: Texture quality | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I did that for a new texture, and it seems to look blocky in Poser4. Hmmm... sigh Maybe it's a hint lol. O.o;

So basically in Photoshop I'd use Image Size... and just make the texture palette larger for better texture quality?

K cool. I just tried my hand at a horse texture and I need to stop making things so light ^^;; So basically most tex's use a white base.. hm... and a 3000x3000 area. Are you saying in Poser or where ever you make the texture? If you enlarge the template (the ones that come on the P4 cd) you'll loose some lines because they'll get distorted. How do you get around that? o.o;

Ok, say I made a blue skinned model... what should her color base be? White or something else? And for putting tattoo's on... how large to you generally make the tex so it's details aren't lost?

Sorry Elf ^^;; Didn't mean it like that, but I've gotten help from a window user before and it was really confusing (it helped that I knew somethings that he was talking about). ^^;; And thanks for telling me what I oughta do =) So with lighter body tex tones the model should be lighter than it correct? So many things to learn...

Yay :) Questions about registering your P4 tho... I got mine off of Ebay by my dad and it's from MetaCreations. I tried to register it but it gave me an error (I forget what) so where should I register it? And the seller said he never registered it and never opened the cd (Checked when it came in and the CD case was still taped shut).

Well, I also just upgraded to Jaggy, and its really cool. Cute buttons (lots of eye candy). I'm not certain about the Poser 4 details (forgot it already) but I'm pretty sure its newer. I have 512mb ram, and a 80gb hd ;D Boy am I all spiffed out! =D I'm going to see if I can bum money off my parents so they can get me that Daz3d plantium deal. Its 100$ to get it, and from then on you either get 30% off or something for 1.99$. To get anything off the net, I would need access to a credit card (no more $$ left from buying p4). I kinda doubt they'd let me o.o;. Also, is it very hard to make your own model/texture? I've been looking for some tut's on that here, and so far I haven't seen a thing, just a facial texture tut. If it's not to hard, I might try my hand at it. Oh and... mac's rule =^^=. sorry, couldn't help myself. :)
