Thread: LIBRARY IS TOTALLY BROKEN IN POSER !! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
RedPhantom posted at 1:41PM Wed, 09 March 2016 - #4244665
I don't know what problems you're having are but at least since the sr1 I found, if my library loads blank, there's a little refresh button in the lower right corner and I can hit that and it loads. I don't know if it worked before the sr1, never tried it.
Ok, I know this is kinda old, but thank you for the tip. Just had the issue with the library not loading and this worked just fine (for me)
Thread: Howto place/replace a head to create a new figure? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - ... one quick and dirty trick ...
Hmm - I thought a bout at first time, but I've started to play arround with animations in poser to create some 'lil game-sprites, so this won't work for me I think.
Ok, I'm only playing with walk designer atm, but I want to have a figure that I can use in future animation testing too.
And the DAZ-sale is what leads to the head-move-thingy 'cause once I've learned how to do this I'll have max. flexibility at quite low prices :)
To create a new neck-figure is really easy (for me):
This is the neck obj, to combine the "Low-Res Toon Girl" with the Nyacky-Head (nucky.eek.jp/Nyacky.html). I just picked some free Models for the start with max. size difference to test it :)
I hope it'll look like this at the end of the day:
Quite cute result if it works

Quote - Easier than it sounds to do.
Jep, sounds quite easy :)
Thanks for the good explanation, I'll give it a try and post the result here ... but this could take some time ^^

Thank you for the link.
I'll give it a try, maybe I don't need to take care of the bones. :)
Ahhh ... I found another one - http://www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial?id=2259&_m=d
It's for DAZ but maybe I can use it for the bone thingy in poser as well ....
Damn ... I've been a hundret times on the DAZ site while searching and now I find something. I must have been blind for days ...
Thread: Poser 8... First Impressions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Mornin' Everyone :)
I've just a quick question - does Poser 8 have some glowing light effects now?
Because if I remember right that's still the reason why I saved my money on P7 and still play arround with P6.
I think i'll update this time (there will be more options and stuff I'm sure ^^) but I want glowing light effects! I want everything to glow! I love glowing thingys!

lol ... cast drawings are a pain in the a** for sure ^^
I never met any drafter who really likes them ;)
And back to that Brainy and/or/vs. V4:
I have V4 in my runtime (and to many products for her ...) - but - don't know how to eplain - I don't really like her anymore. She's to beautiful. Kinda unnatural beautiful? I think she doesn't fit in my toon-mind ^^
Atm I'm playing arround with Brainy most of the time. He's really funny, cause he can bend everyting everywhere. Quite cool, for learing to pose something. And - as you said - he's not state of the art or mainstream. ^^
I think he was the right choice for a newbie like me. He's my personal trainer ^^

Hehehe ... I won't call it "brave". It's more because I'm kinda lazy. If there've been some available for him I would have bought them and never tried to build some (lol does that sentence make sense? ^^).
And they've been easy to build (not to rig) for me because the feet "include" most of the design. Its more difficult for me to design than to create something arround a design.
All my 3D experience comes from my job as a technical drafter. Give me some technical Stuff and I can build what ever you want, but when it comes to organic or natrual design (can't find the right word for it ^^) ... what I try to say is that all the things I create tend to look kinda technical and clean.
KK, nuff said. ^^ There are more tutorials to explore :)

Thank you Jo, that tips were what I needed.
I started with deleting the inkyChain and know they are working fine.
All the other tips I read in severel tutorials before but I never read about the inkys ^^
And without them the boots are working fine :)
Ok, in extreme positions they have some pokethrough, but that depents on the Toon himself because he has two fully posable toes and I only included the first part of each toe to keep them simple.
Thanks again for all the tips, they will help for sure in the next stuff I build for him. He needs a backpack for example to carry all of his "rule the universe" stuff g
