Ok, I need a slap in the head. For a brief moment of insanity..I forgot you have to put an enter after if blah=blah : :) I got it working now. Thanks.:)

Thank you. I will take a look at PhilC book (once IÂ got my bills paid >.> )Â :) I have more scripts to write for a tool set for my next movie.:) Going to modify my script to reflect the ospath and stuff.
Also, I looked at a preview of PhilC book (he is so cool), it looks like it is laid out better then Poser Python Manual.:)

Ok. Got that almost done. Redoing the code break it up a bit.;)
Got one additional question in relation to this python script.
Since I may have to write different .py files for figure, clothing, etc..how would I got about making a menu inside Poser 7 with those choices?
And also, is there a way to have an If statement to see if a Pose file exist? For instance, I have Elite, Creature Morph..but if someone didn't, I can see a whole bunch of debugging menu. But is there a way to
If Pose File Exists
  load library pose
?

Easy..perhaps..but like I mention above..I don't know how to use python..the manual confuses me;)

Well, there is that.:) But the reason why I was wondering about a script is to automate the process with secondary motion. Say I got all the way through it....and wanted to added breathing by using the inhale morph, I was wondering if there is a script that add those values in until the counter reaches the end of the scene animation.:) Just trying to see if there was an easier way to do then then keyframe, and do the animated poses..like you recommended..:)

Actually, that pretty much everyone who uses cloth room, and admittedly mine as well gripe. The problem is, without kicking CL too much in the balls, is that they implemented cloth room settings into poser without wondering if it was the most inituiative way to do it..I still won't use the dyn.hair cause I don't like the looks of them. The strands are nice and all, but transmap looks better for one reason or another. Getting them to collide? ARGH.;) And cool..I understand based on your explaination of where the setting should go, and such points as that..just getting them to work in a practical poser clothed environment was causing me to talk to myself;)

oh, I am sorry...I am using Windows.;) (as opposed to linux..when p6 ports over or a wine is made, then maybe..) I am attaching a link to the clothing parameters..the ones I commonly use is the libraries, cause the default matches the poser cloth room more. What I want to be able to do is select a simulation, and click on a radio/button/something and the settings will go to what cotton is, or whatever cloth settings. I think it would be useful for people who use the cloth room, but have no idea what the base foundation should be for cloth type..sure the manual said the last I looked (haven't read p6 manual yet) that silk has a less bend resistence then wool..well, yea I can see that, but what general range should it be? If I am asking that, a lot of others would. The numbers aren't exact (careful wit hthe density), but it provides a basis for tweaking.;)Thread: P4 to B5 | Forum: MarketPlace Customers

I am not sure if I can help you on the High-Res females. I usually go for either Eve or Jenny. Someone might be able to help you better with that one.:) As far as I know, the real difference is more vertices.:) They changed a few things in Poser4 nude, so I would go with Poser4 Nude then Poser3.;)

Ahh thanks..:) Although that armor is a pain in the ass, it was the one I was looking for.. (literally). Hopefully, I can get done with what I am doing, and move on to another scenary.;) I am creating a comic book based on Medival times. I should of stuck with Sci-fi. More abundant.:) Never the less, I shall do with what I can.:) (I can't model, so I will do with what I can.:))
