when other people start advertising their products you know it's time to unwatch. Thank you Centenox for starting the awareness of my version of the LaFemme2 DL gen, now available. I'm going to uncheck the notify, but I'm always around and easy to contact should you know where to look. Thanks again!

Sorry, I mixed up the last 2 posts from AmbientShade and Afrodite-Ohki and merged them into one reply. Oops! In any case, I hope Nerd3D is right on the money with his replies and trust that, to be fully transparent, he said to me:
"The thread going at R'osity contains a lot of mis-information because of confusion about which license content included with poser is released under. They're reading the Rendo store licenese and believing it applies to the content included with Poser. La Femme Lite is included with Poser therefore covered by Poser's EULA. Which ...
Isn't on the store page like it's supposed to be ... nobody noticed.
So. I'm working with Bondware to make sure that gets fixed. In the mean time La Femme 2 Lite (and only the lite versions) is a "Vendor Resource" The EULA for Poser 12 will contain the same details about what exactly a Vendor Resource is That EULA is in the Poser 12 manual wher it's supposed to be."
Thank you again all. I hope this clears up any confusion, and trust that update will happen.

I appreciate you taking the time to look out for your fellow creators. I wasn't relying on word of mouth from just any other forum. I was relying on the word of a person whom I trusted that talked to Nerd3d, and now I have as well. If I can't trust Nerd3d's word then god help us all. I was also relying on the language of the EULA and checked the separate readme for conflicting language. Thank you!On trusting Nerd3d's previous words on this, as I stated above, there are still misunderstandings waiting on decisions from the owners of Bondware.
You did not acquire LF2 from Renderosity, but it's the same from many other products that Renderosity vendors donated to Poser's included content and still abide by their original Renderosity EULA. They are listed as "Restricted Content" in Poser's EULA. LF2 has not been listed as either there as of yet and so we're waiting on confirmation. What I do know for a fact is that she was commissioned by RPUBLISHING, which is the store vendor that sells her Pro version, and just because LF2 Lite was gifted to be included with Poser's content, doesn't mean she automatically becomes a Poser vendor resource.
Honestly, I'm not gonna push this matter anymore as none of this is really my problem - I only retain authorship rights over LF2, but editing, redistribution rights etc are no longer mine -, but I'm just commenting all this here to save you from possibly keep doing a lot of work that you might not be allowed to release.

AmbeintShade, Please do not conflate Poser's native license and Renderosity Marketplace License. I did not obtain the LaFemme2 Lite from the marketplace. I will trust Charles Taylor, aka Nerd3D on this matter, as his position supports my understanding of the reading of the license. I would not use this logic to support "why something does not exist". I am aware of, and try to stay up to date with, my legal rights. Thank you for your concern, but I have my interpretation on how Poser vendor resources can be used, what's included in that umbrella of content, and what can be redistributed. I have had no issues in the past with other, multiple, figures.
Try not to spread too much misinformation, even if it's from being uninformed. If you ever have questions you should always do your own research and follow the letter of the law.

Hi thefixer, I just heard from Charles (Nerd3D), I'm all set. I've used the figure from the lite version to build off of, I am covered by the Poser EULA. This is what I would expect. I did re-read that LaFemme2 Lite readme files a few more times, just to be sure there wasn't any language pertaining to differences in this type of agreement. I don't see any, and would not expect any, when included with your purchase of the software.
side note: I'm still using the V4 model too, LMFAO. I hope this will change things for us. Thanks!
Afrodite-Ohki, sorry if it was a bad choice of words. Poser "clearly tells" its position on merchant resource inside of it's licensing agreement, not on a figure by figure basis, at least not that I'm aware of. If there were any I would expect that information to be kept in a separate readme or license, which is why I went to read your readme in the first place.
As for the JCM's I deleted all of them. IMO they were 100% not needed on this weight mapped figure. My only question is... is there any restriction from letting me make this figure Poser 9 compatible? If I remove SSS I could make her Poser 8 friendly. I just have to change the number at the top of the file... I know the figure is only included in the Poser 11 bundle, but would work in poser 8 weights with no sss, poser 9 with sss. I don't think I'll change it, I just wanted to know the logic if it would be "ok" to do.

I'm reading the LaFemme 2 LITE readme file over again (P11 LaFemme2 Lite.zip/Documentation/ LaFemme2 Readme). I don't see any separate restrictions.

Side note, Tempesta3d, The reason one would have to purchase the Daz pro packs to make figures is because Daz is a free software, and has different licensing because of that. They choose to make their money from the figures sold. Poser is a paid software, and have chosen a different route in their licensing agreement while supplying figures included with your purchase of said software.
In any case, I'd love to hear the outcome of the CEO, so I can move forward for a release.
I didn't see how to edit my previous post (looks like it's time sensitive, i needed to eat some breakfast) so I just added it here. Not trying to bump the thread :P
Side note: I didn't include hair/clothing/, or anything I didn't edit/ manipulate/change geometrically/ use as a vendor resource is supposed to be used, but let me know please!

fun (unrelated) fact. The first purchase I ever made for poser was the Poser 4 Pro pack. It cost twice the amount as the poser software alone, but I thought it was worth it. When it finally got to me I was sooo excited. I opened it up only to find out it was JUST the pro pack. No software included. I had to wait years until poser 6 was released to afford the software. That's my experience with pro packs.

Hello world!
Yeah, I was told that this figure was following the same licensing terms as the other figures that get distributed with Poser. I would REALLY appreciate a heads up from the results from the Bondware CEO as the the legality on if I would be required to purchase the pro pack to the the dev rig to the figure that is able to be acquired by simply owning the software. I'm not trying to get around anything Afrodite-Ohki, it's just what I presummed based off of the legalese from the poser documentation, as well as what I thought was a GO AHEAD from the email conversation with Charles Taylor had with Centenox.
As for "how it got so cut up", I post everything in "that thread over there", it's user error importing settings in Maya, I have all the highs and all the lows posted in that thread. I leave nothing out, total transparency.
Please update me on the EULA situation when they have a ruling. I was about to write the readme file for distribution. Thank you!

Coupon 2020 will save 50% right now. But yeah, it's a bundle so it's more than a base figure.
