Ninhalo5 I'm actually trying different settings to get the best time. I have also found that some textures work better w/radiosity than others. I'm not sure why. I hope to get the quickest/best quality settings soon. I am also curious as to how much of a render cost adding more figures will be. Hopefully it won't be that much. I think it will though. later, Don

thanks for the encouragement redvant. I only wish I could get the rendertime down though. I'm still working on the "optimal" setting. Maybe it's just time to get that dual pentium 800 system! Not with a baby on the way unfortunately. If anyone can give me some insight as to how to improve render speed, please come forward. later, Don

After seeing this post I remember an article on PlanetQuake a long time ago concerning custom mod making for quake. I went there just now and you can open the .pk3 (the file that holds all the info concerning Quake3), using WinZip, and extract the textures. Simply right click the file and select "open with" and then choose winzip. There are some really detailed paintings that look very relistic. Much better than in the game itself, which looks very good! I would think that to use these would be ok, if you actually own the game, and only used them for your own personal non-profit work. After all they allow people to make maps/levels using these same textures. Correct me if I am wrong please. later, Don

Thread: Jennifer Lopez done...I mean it...well ...maybe | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I will definetely make her available, but I'm not sure of the best way or the legal way. I basically started off using the Nene figure with a bunch of new morphs. I ended up not using many Nene morphs and I think that ones I did use were actually Traveler's. Let me remove the useless morphs and then check to see which morphs that are left are actually Traveler's. I'm sure the same morphs can be applied to the P4 female. I've never posted a character before. Do people prefer a cr2, .pz3, or a morph target? Obviously I'm not going to post the nene figure with the morphs since she's not my character, but I do want to make this available. Please let me know what the legalities are. thanks, Don

The jawline is one of the things that is bothering me about the likeness. I've tried several variations to increase the width and she starts looking rather butch. I guess I'll have to head to morph world and download the rest of the female face packs. This is actually pretty close, but I will try and perfect her. As soon as I get done playing with my new cd burner that is! thanks for all the input, Don

This is definitely a work in progress. I do notice the seams seperating the chest from the abdomen and am at a loss as to what I need to do to fix it. Aside from Photoshop. Since I usually render in Inspire 3D I have to touch up the seams in photoshop anyway. I've tried making morph targets for this figure. Unfortunately the chest morph doesn't seem to work. This actually started off using the Nene character. I pulled some morph targets from some other characters and ended up with this character. I think I figured out why the chest morph didn't work and If it works I'll post the morphs. I really like the way that the face turned out. It was totally accidental, but I think that it is very unique. I will try the suggestions that every one has made and keep everyone updated. thanks, Don

Thanks for all the wonderful constructive criticism. I'm glad to see that this forum is not obsessed with the "norms" that society places on females. It's wonderful that we can all be so enlightened. Sarcasm off. It's amazing that no one can offer any constructive criticism. It's seems that the only remarks present resemble the kind that my fourth grade students would give.

check out my post. If you like I can send you a morph. Look for "New Character by Darth Opus". It's about two posts above this one.
