All well and good but as I was in the middle of a major relocation during the time period mentioned - and had no time to check and see if poser was working - now to see it is not what are my options before uninstalling and giving up the ghost completely? Mind I have had an active copy of poser going back to Poser 4 but..at this rate this might be the last hurrah...

Thanks for the heads up on Genesis had been looking at some of that stuff. V4 works for me have plenty of V4 related content - again thanks for the feedback its very much appreciated

oops sorry should have mentioned in the original post - just acquired Poser 2010 and i know i have a lot of vicky 4,2 stuff at the moment

most of the files and stuff i have are from around the time of Poser 7 should have been clearer about that

ditto on that sentiment I am considering getting it but after reading a lot of the posts here im not exactly running to get it..........

You are probably right but as im still learning the ins and outs of the material lab, deep texture editor, etc....lol I figured that it would be a question of putting a bump map in but where to put it .....would be a good place to start ........
