Thanks everyone. I did check E-bay, but I figured to cover all the best bases first. I am NO expert when it comes to film so when the guy that had the camera told me "you can't get film for it anymore" I figured he already researched that. I also Googled and found that this camera was made in Rochester NY. Thanks for the heads up on everything though.

I knew a guy that looked down his nose at me because I used Bryce as my "meat and potatos" renderer. He had 3DSMAX. He showed me all the features...told me what Bryce could not do, and his program could. I simply nodded, waiting for him to finish his diatribe. When he had finished and smugly looked at me for some "feeble newbie" response I simply smiled at him and said "I use that toy to make a living and extra money. How much money have you made?" He had no answer.
It all boils down to if Bryce can do what you need it to do and you can output high enough quality render for print...what does it really matter?

I am a severe critic of books being turned into movies, especially in todays bubblegum hollywood but, this movie is a MUST SEE for Tolkein fans and "who is Tolkein" people alike. Good casting, excellent character development, and even if you've read the books over and over the look on Frodos face after Gandalf "dies" is enough to rip your heart out. The changes they made were very minor. I give it at least a 9 on a 10 scale.

I have been having trouble with that too...I can't find the Marinara interface that goes along with it. Or not to mention the Romano sprinkle render setting.

If Dina is anything like Natalia I would recommend her....Natalia doesn't have alot of stuff YET. But, the things that are out there now are good quality and less expensive.
Thread: How much did your longest rendering take? | Forum: Bryce
Hmm...my longest so far took almost a week on a 1gig Athlon. However I am working on one right now that I am estimating will take no less than 3 weeks to render...if I keep the dpi at 300 minimum.

I definately don't want to try that fruit. Take one bite and you will be in the dentist's chair for months.

I have Tree Druid as well and am very happy with it. I hope I didn't botch the link. LOLThread: KiDAcE is not related to KiddEgo :-) | Forum: Bryce
Kiddego...I almost made the same mistake. Just so others know....there is also an OG KidAce1....again, not the same person.
Thread: Bryce 5: Is it worth the upgrade? | Forum: Bryce
I do 3D art on a "professional" level...my final renders of most of my work take an average of 4 to 6 days to complete. An additional 2.1 days in Unnacceptable...and after the bugs I have experienced with 4 I will NOT buy 5 and deal with more problems.
