Hi Paul.
Will there be an option to monthly rent Octane Render + Poser plugin in the future?
Thanks
Thread: Revolving Camera Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Right, like someone else mentioned, not every camera works for this. I'm having much better luck with the "main camera" than with "posing camera", as the latter just moves all over the place. At least the main camera actually moves around the selected prop, in my case a car in a large scene.

I'm having the same problem with "Frame" function. Every time I used it, it seems to have a slight different outcome / position.
And when I try to get the camera to revolve around a prop, it moves all over the place, even though I parented it to it, pointed at, whatever. As soon as I try to rotate the camera, it moves like hundreds of feet instead of small steps around the object. I have really no clue how to make this work.Ā

Thanks a lot! I completly missed this reply as I didn't get any email from Renderosity. I didn't expect anyone to answer so I didn't really go back to look after a week or so. :)
Some of these options look interesting and I'll check Daz a bit more. I've had some success with the DSon importer on Poser, and yes, Poser is my main renderer.
Thanks again :)Ā

Your Kung Fu is strong! I'll need to redownload the original and check, but I can't see why it would be a problem with it, specially as the reflection (as seen on the promo renders) works exactly the same in my renders. It's just the mirror doesn't show the reflection.
Adding a reflect node to the displacementmap and playing around with raybias did actually give reflection. It's just not the same color, and didn't seem to change when I changed to white from the default black. But still, it's better!Ā

@EnglishBob, yes, sadly I'm quite sure, I tripplechecked it just to be sure. I couldn't see anything.
@aRtBee, I'll check to see what happens!

Sounds like a good idea! I just can't find any such setting.. I've even tried not using displacement maps in render settings, didn't help. Here's the floor material setting:

Ah.. thanks to the both of you! Is there any way around this? Simply not choose a floor with displacement? :)

Ahh.. so it was that easy.. :)
And that can be removed as well? I just want to be in front of mistakes that might take longer to rectify. Thanks a lot!
