Yeah I was afraid of that.

As for shade, it was just something I read last about so it kind of stuck in my head o.O I'm sure it's helpful with fx, also something we don't really have fully in studio (particles etc). then again, what's not yet there might come.

In any event, even with plugins available from Daz it starts to look like a costly adventure. So I'm going to think well before I buy anything, or I end up with tools I can't use.

Daz|Studio is free, and worked well for me - but after some time I wanted something more without losing an arm and a leg over it. After adding a few plugins, Daz|Studio becomes so much easier to work with and above all a lot of fun.

It doesn't mean it's perfect though, far from it, but I do have good hopes for it.

The only problem I'm having is that Daz|Studio does not support 5/6 well, especially if they open up the box of magics. So nothing dynamic or anything more advanced than from what was there since Poser 4. Some stuff will work, some won't.
