I'm referring to payment details being stored in my Renderosity account somewhere. I haven't bought from Renderosity in a while, but i don't see any place to store payment options. Its just as well if it isn't stored anywhere. I was just asking if it existed somewhere in the account for me to update.
In any case, 2FA is easy peasy. If you use Authy and 2 devices (one for backup) you never have to worry about losing access to your codes. Its nice especially since I travel a lot and I've had to deal with identify theft. i don't wish that on anyone. It took me months to fix all the damage they created. so any extra layers of security are appreciated.Â

hmm, that's not an option in 4.12.0.86, they must have added that later in 4.15. I still use 4.12.0.86 because its the best for animation and backwards compatibility with plugins which i need. in any case, the script is great for locking and unlocking anything.Right click on scene tab with camera selected, click on "Lock selected node". Shift-U unlocks it.

Thread: Attention Previous Hivewire3D Members! | Forum: Community Center
Most of the stuff that I bought at Hivewire was made by Nerd3D. I see that vendor is here under the name Nerd, but I don't see the same content over here, so I guess they discontinued some of of their content? I guess there is no way to get that carried over? I'm referring to "Smoke and Flames Tool for DS", "Splash Tool for DS", "Spray Tool for DS", "Waves on the Beach for DS", "The Glen", and "Waterfall Tool". I'm surprised because all those items work pretty well in Iray with just some tweaking of the materials.Â

there's no reason you can't animate in layers. I find that easier than trying to do it all in Daz or Unreal, use them both for their strengths. For example, animate your characters in Daz, and animate your backgrounds In Unreal. Combine your layers in whatever NLE system you want, Blender can even do basic video editing now. Think of it as using a virtual "green screen". It saves a lot of time with rendering, and you get the best of both worlds.

i love unreal and am slowly learning it. but currently i do the background layers in Unreal and do the character layers in Daz and as long as I avoid showing feet, its looks great. I just wish there was a way to get camera data for both, so I could sync up the separate renders better. Not sure if anyone has figured out a good way to do this yet.

what about using telegram? its free, censorship resistant and stable and you can upload fairly large files (2GB). I think that would work well.

Thanks for your response Razor42, you're probably right. It would be nice to get an official response too from someone at Rendo, just for peace of mind. I'm just a hobbyist so I don't have money to consult an attorney on something like this. I do sell some of my animations at another online store, but not enough to make a living by any means. I just wanted to make sure I don't have a problem down the road so I don't want there to be any ambiguity in my use of the item.

Yeah, just had to agree with the negative comments. It felt worse than a carnival game. I bought 3 items and I got 3 things that are such junk that I didn't even bother downloading them. Not against the artists, as I'm sure someone may like them. But this is bad marketing to lure someone in with items that are either old, or just don't sell and no one wants (none of the items I got even had reviews.) Bad luck of the draw maybe, but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for future sales as it was so gimmicky. A better thing in the future would be to simply offer a random percentage off the order after the payment process is set in motion, then everyone at least gets something.
