Found a backyard package right here, if it's what you need.
More than just a background, which will make it better for your characters to interact with.
Thread: I need this mask/headgear for poser | Forum: The MarketPlace Wishing Well
Had fun running this to the end. Texture map is not the best, but wanted to get the look down before all the fine tuning. I'll run the images here from the first runs to the final. Sorry for spamming the thread, or so it feels.
These are the first rounds, The shape on this mask was not what we needed.
And with some textures.
After a couple go rounds with the basic shape of the head gear ended up with this.

Might also check what char you want to put on. As it is quite a tight mask, other char's may stick out or you'll have to scale to fit.

Thread: Importing .obj files, loss of center | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks again to all the replies. Seems I'm still stuck with making all changes in the joint editor. Been doing it this way, just getting lazy I guess. Good tip on the outline display there John.
Thread: Importing .obj files, loss of center | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Using the joint editor is what I've been doing. But yes as models become more complex the task gets overwhelming and just a little bit off can ruin the effects. I've been able to cope with this, but would like to import and be done.
I just tried exporting from poser some different formats, all with the same results.
What I exported from blender in .obj and .3ds both work fine when import to 3ds, but same trouble when brought into poser. Must be a poser thing, or un-thing.
Thread: Importing .obj files, loss of center | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In blender I've no trouble. But lets say I was modeling a door, I need the center point to be at the edge where the hinge would be. I can do that in blender, and when rotating works as a door would, not spinning from center but pivot from hinge. But when bringing this door into poser, I'm back at center of door and it spins instead of swings.
hmm, maybe I should only make revolving doors?

I'm also a blender user. And yes, the trouble with things not rotating properly when imported to poser is my problem also. Thought I had been missing something, but starting to look like it's by design.
Thanks for the replies as far.
Thread: How to pack poser files for distribution | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Appreciate all for the help, suggestions and tips. Phil's site also a good resource. All makes some sense now and moving forward.
Thanks much,

OK, so I'm getting the feeling there is no 'easy' way. Looks like i'll be constructing a blank runtime to move into and package.
I'll spend bit more time on your site there phil,
thanks for the link.
Thread: Modeling Clothing | Forum: Carrara
Quote - The artistic capability of a pencil is always determined by the user. It's always more important to actually learn the tool than by another one hoping it does the job. ;-)
WOW! That is really Really deep, and yet so simple to understand. Great bit of advice there. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but another free program for modeling is Blender. I've not tackled clothing with the rigging and such. Don't know if that would work for this application.
Thread: Realistic Tanning Bed | Forum: The MarketPlace Wishing Well
The hydro-struts were in my reference also, for the same reasons have avoided that part. The cooling vents on your reference are much more pronounced. Ones I viewed had smaller vents on the interior surfaces of the bed.
"Just out of curiosity what do you model in ? "
To answer you question, Mostly I model in my spare time.
Huh, oh... I do almost all my work with Blender. On occasion I'll fall back on 3ds max. After I've the model built I'll export out as .obj then work up the textures, figures, morphs... in Poser. Most recently I got Carrara which is what I've used on the last set of renders here.

Your right about the vents. Looking closer at the pics I see them. Hey, what about cup holders? Maybe some controls too. I'll have to go back a few steps now. Can't seem to import this to poser.

Same here, looked at some photos and then dug in. Much better hinge on yours. Mine just now is more of a knife blade with the top open.

A bit late on the response here. Just started putting this together this eve. I'll play it along just for something to do. As I've not been in one of these, any comments are most welcomed.
It'll still need some work, but just getting the parts together.
