So Prime items are never on sale? Then why does the ad for the sale say "save up to 50% OFF Exnem's entire store!"? If the only 50% off is something that Prime members get anyway and no one else can get at all then why would you even mention that in the ad. It's just the unrelated status quo.
So I'm assuming that this actually was a 40% off sale for non Prime items (for normal members). While it had nothing special for Prime members who already get 50% off.
See, unlike what your post suggests, I am not questioning Prime (not here at least), I'm just completely confused by the way this sale is or rather was advertised. To the point where I am not even sure any more if there even was a sale going on or who it was for. I usually don't run into problems with that kind of stuff, even on another 3D site with notoriously confusing advertisement and sale mechanics.

Ah I get it. The items that are not in 'Prime' are on sale for 40% off for normal members and 50% off for Prime Members, right? And the 'Prime' items aren't on sale at all for normal members but on sale for 50% off for Prime members. Would that be right?
It's not that I really care, but that would mean that the sale strategy is to disappoint normal members by mentioning "up to 50% OFF Exnem's entire store" and treating 'Prime' as the status quo, instead of just pointing out how much of an exceptional benefit 'Prime' is (which some other site usually does). I find that quite curious, it's interesting to see the different strategies the bigger 3D sites apply. I hope it works out well for you guys!

Yap I just got the call. After the last time, I did completely stop shopping at Hivewire3D and the only 3D outlets I use anymore are Renderosity, Renderotica, RDNA and DAZ3D. But I've only bought stuff at Renderosity and DAZ in the last few weeks, so...at the very least this might be a good moment for the administration to double check if there's any possible problem with the site. A group of hackers probably has set their eyes on the 3D world specifically.
I gotta admit, I was kind of afraid it might be a problem with my own system, this thread gives me hope at least someone else's security measures failed :D
