LOL......you two are baaaaaaaaaaaaaad!  

I finally found some clothes for that darling man, Apollo, but his expression changed the minute I drapped him in some horrid pants.  (Personally, I think he's a latent exhibitionist)  I've calmed him down a bit, but his "wonders" still peek through now and then.  I must admit that he's a "Man of all Seasons" and is quite willing to work well with others, when his control dials are tweaked in the right way.

Sighhhh....I can see that I have my work cut out for me, in trying to control this young beast.  

I looove the sound of that Apron, Kitty.  I just love a man in an apron...;)

He sure is fun...because I haven't any idea how to get clothes on him yet.  :)  I'm going half blind searching the forums, the download site, and the download  files for info, but no luck so far.  I have clothes, and materials, but so far nothing takes.  Maybe I'm too old for this classy guy?  Sometimes they're just too young to handle, dontchano?

Hello everyone,

I went to the Apollo site and downloaded  Apollo and some other stuff for him, (thanks so much!) but it seems that I need a password to open him?  His files are showing up in Poser 6 for me but there is nothing there.

Can someone give me some instructions about this?  I must be doing something wrong.  It's my nature. ;)

So I can put my Mil figures and clothes into 6 without any problems?  That would be great, because for some reason my Poser 5 CD is not working.

I'll go ahead and load my previous buys then and see how it goes.  It's going to be a loooong install...lol.

Dear Klutz, fionter, Dave-So, etc.

I hang my head in shame...  The only thing wrong with installing Vic 4 was getting the wrong download.  I happened to pick the DS-PC download.  I guess I'd better get my glasses adjusted for when you have all those confusing downloads.  

I have Vic 4 up and running, and can't wait to learn more about her, and also get her some added goodies. ;)

I think I should check into external runtimes too, as I live in two different states, and I'm always updating one or the other.

Dave-So, Sam Therapy, and Klutz, Hi all...again.

I haven't had any luck installing V4 complete.  When I go to figures/Daz, I see an icon with Vic 4 to Vic 3.  Doesn't open and wants a search for the files.  Nada files that work or open, and then freezes Poser.

I can find Vic 4 in Daz / People files when I go into my computer, but can't find it in Poser runtimes to open it.  I tried letting Daz install it where it wants to, and then I tried installing in Poser 6 Runtimes.  Nothing seems to be working.  I must still be doing something wrong.  

I get the clothes, the poses, but no figure.  Oh, also when I go to load the Morphs..ps_ pe070_V4Morphs it searches but doesn't find the right place to load them.   I've never had this kind of trouble loading anything before, but Vic 4 is stumping me.

Lastly......is there any chance that I got a bad download?  (lol...sorry it's my only failsafe for feeling so stupid.)

Hmmmm....I think I'll give it a little wait, lol.  By the time I load all my stuff into my Posers, sighhh...maybe the kinks will be knocked out. ;)

I do like that multiple un-do's tho.

Houston, I think we have a problem.  I tried re-installing from my disk and it seems that all I  have with me here in FL is my installation #.  I thought the other code may be on the CD, but if it is, I can't find it yet.

What in the world do I do now?  It's probably in my book that I left home.  I stopped bringing all my books because of luggage weight .

Do you know if it's anywhere else?

In the meantime I'll try sizing the trees the way you told me.

I put the terrain in, and then the trees.  No little shack in this one, but I have a feeling this oddity may happen if I adjust the height or size of the trees.

Anyway..I will try installing Vue again and see what happens.  All my prefs seem to be what they should be and can't remember changing any of them.

Will do some waiting housework, and get back to you later..

I tried what you said, and I thank you immensely for the hints about replicating and scattering..  I tried it all out with the palms again and using the layering.  I thought it was working until about the seventh rendering and then they shot back up to the sky again.  

Now...how do I re-install to save all my content?  If I un-install in my add/remove programs won't I lose everything, or do I just re-install the proggie without un-installing it?

(I'm too old for this...lol, but at least I learned something wonderful today)  Thanks so much.
