Quote - Most of the geometry files that come with Poser are in the compressed OBZ format. There is a utility to uncompress them if you look in Scripts > Utility > uncompressPoserFiles

Quote - Not an answer to your question. but you could render out image sequences (tiff or png) to your movie editor app and ctreate your movie there. Image sequence is the prefered way to do this.
This sidesteps your issue with being unable to render to video fdirect from Poser as well.

You can put on or off your light with your time line ... frame 0 = on, frame 25 = off, frame 50 = on for a blink of 1/2 sec ...
