I have been bitchin about this for along time now, the best solution I found is this...don't post to the internet...If someone wants your images bad enough they will find a way to get it...you can code, you can disable stuff till your blue in the face...All for nothing....because you can't really defeat photoshop and the print screen key. I care about my work, I care about everyone elses work on this fine site...I just do not see how your gonna "lock" the images....so to me it's like trying to convince a republican the Iraqi war was wrong...it just can't be done.

I want to say something here about these so called "lurkers". I think I registered here in like 1997 or something, anyway it was ALONG time ago. When I first came here I don't think I posted anything in the galleries or forums or chat or anywhere for like 2 years. Mostly I "Lurked" and at the same time I learned. By hanging out in the galleries and reading the forums I learned a great deal about the digital art medium. It ALSO took me a while to get the confidence to actually post anything (mostly cuz I had never ran into critisim before:-) Its easy to think your a decent artist when your sitting alone in a monitor illuminated room all by yourself and enjoying something you created, even if its just a metaball floating over an endless sea.... Now, this thread actually seems kinda "Elitist", Just because nobody ever posted or nobody ever commented in the forums does not mean they are not using the site. Yes I am sure there are examples of folks who forgot they registered and everthing else but come on who are we to say who they are? Anyway, thats my two cents worth.... And remember before you critisize someone elses work, walk a mile in their shoes........that way when you do, your a mile a way and he has no shoes :)

Anti- trust laws??? Seems to me he is just looking for a base idea. I have been doing freelance for along time now and I sit down and evaluate the amount of work and the quality they desire. Most times I never charge by the hour. Its almost always by the image. Think long and hard about how much work you actually do to produce and image and you'd be suprised.

I bet your running Gozilla or some other accellerator...I suggest you disable it when your downloading from this site...R'osity does not seem to like those.

I've played around with this alittle you might try it. Its kind of a cheap morph effect. It only works with stationary objects. I model an object I.E. a plant. Texture it. I model another plant. Texture it. In Bryce I play with the texture transparency so the first model completely disapears and the second one appears in the next frame...If you use 3 or 4 objects in this fashion It appears that your object is moving/swaying in the wind....Its very crude and a pain in the butt but if your careful you can get it to work.

Thanks all...Griggs was correct, although I'm too impatient to wait for the 64 or above ray settings...I posted a new image "Morning Reflection" in the gallery as an example...the DOF was set to keep the glass in the window sharp and the lens width was set to .025. And a ray setting of 36...grainy but...I still waited 13 hours for this one.

Well, in bryce 4 at that time I was running a 700 mhz AMD with 256 megs of ram...it took about 35 min total. Actually, 2400 polys isn't that much....seems kinda odd..
