For those of you who do want to integrate 3D models with AI, I saw a video on YouTube earlier this evening made by Olivio Sarikas that shows you a website where you can do just that and very easily.

The website is called CGDream. He gets into the details in the video.

I just thought I'd post something here that I saw mentoned earlier today on Matt Wolfes YouTube channel. It's very relevant to what we're discussing here.

When you get to the Techcrunch website there's another link in the main story that takes you to the Creative Commons website.

This is a sad thing for me to see. It was A.I. generated images that got me back into posting at Renderosity after literally years. I really enjoyed making those images and sharing them with others in the A.I. forum. I've seen some really amazing images there and it was very inspiring to me and the other people who posted there. I truly hope this decision will be reversed.

Yes, there's a python script that'll do that. On the top menu go to "Scripts" then "Utility" and down the list you'll choose either "Drop Act To Floor All Frames" or "Drop Fig To Floor All Frames". It's a big time saver.

There's a free cross platform video editor called Shotcut that's fairly easy to use. You can check it out here: https://www.shotcut.org/

Yes, that was the 9mbi website. I remember they made the John McCain figure a freebie after awhile and they also had a George W. Bush character.
Thread: Dynamic clothing alternatives for DAZ Studio | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Actually Wendy (Wilmap) has some free 60's and 70's inspired clothing at her website. You do have to sign up to download it but it's not a problem.
60's Mini Dress and Collarless suit Part 1
60's Mini Dress and Collarless suit Part 2
For a more early 70's style there's this:
Genesis 70's Flower Power Part 1
Genesis 70's Flower Power Part 2
Genesis 70's Flower Power Part 3
Good luck!

Thread: Free modelling sw that's good for architectural props? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - After 15 years of consuming other peoples' creations I'm starting to think about cooking up my own architectural props for my Poser scenes and filling some exterior scenery gaps I've been trying to fill for all those years. Can someone recommend free 3D modelling software for cooking up building exteriors including texture mapping? Preferrably something that can crank out .OBJ or something similarly easily imported into Poser.
I'm not looking for anything in which I can rig articulations and for starters I'll be cooking up concrete atrocities consiting of all flat surfaces and square angles. I first considered Sketchup but to export models I'd have to pay around $600 for the pro versioj (yack!), at the moment I'm thinking Blender might be the way to go but I really don't know what alternatives are out there except Anim8or and the little time I've spent in Blender in the past when using it as a converter to feed my Poser addiction I found a bit bewildering.
Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
Well, not exteriors but if you want to make your own house models there's Sweet Home 3D which is free and available for Windows, Mac and Linux. http://www.sweethome3d.com/ It exports to .obj format and you can also download additional furniture models for your home on the website. It also has real world measurements, feet, inches, centimeters, meters, etc. I've used it for a few years now and there's a bit of a learning curve but it's fairly intuitive.

Yes, I was kind of curious myself and had the original version of Faceworx still installed on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit so I tried it yesterday and it does work. I don't know why Looxis says it won't.

Quote - that faceworx looks fun but has anyone had it working on 64 bit comps?? (website says no)
just sold my last 32 bit a month or so ago would hate to buy one just for this ;-)
Heddheld, you could always try running a virtual OS like Windows 7 32 bit or Windows XP using software like Oracles free Virtualbox or VMWare. Mind you, you do need a fairly powerful system. I'd say you need at least 4 to 6 gigs of RAM and a good processor like an Intel I series or an AMD quad core. For example, I'm running Virtualbox using an AMD Phenom II X6 1035T processor with 8 gigs of RAM. I'm running virtual versions of Linux Mint and Windows XP with Virtualbox and they run quite smoothly. Just an idea if you don't want to buy a whole new system. :o)

You may want to try Looxis Faceworx. They've put it back online again after taking it off their website back in 2011. It's very easy to use, all you need are two photos of the persons face and you can export the head model in .obj format. Here's the link:
