Yes, I know exactly what is causing your problem. It is that you disabled 'use constraints'. This sounds like it would be a good thing to get rid of those nasty rotation constraints, unfortunately in Carrara, it also turns off the translation constraints on the model, which allows some poses to pull joints, like Vickies shoulders, out of their sockets. It also makes IK use impossible. Unfortunatly, while this is REALLY annoying, it is working as intended, and the only way to manually fix it is by zeroing the figure and then going body part by body part and disabling the rotation limits, or reactivating the translation limits.
I wish they would devide up the functions of that 'Use Constraints' button so that so you could choose which set of Constraints you needed enabled. I don't know why you or anyone else would want to disable the Translation Constrants, but I'm sure there is a reason
Thread: CRC check failed - Anyone getting this error when trying to unzip a Renderosity | Forum: Community Center
Hello
I was hoping I could get my downloads reset, since the SPI problem has caused me to use up them on products both new and old and needing updating. I particularly need these two orders: Order#: 111423821 & 111291158
Thank you very much

Ok, this is getting kind of annoying. I have yet to have one completed uncorrupt download from the store since its opened. I don't have problems like this on any other site I go to. Garbled pages, garbled images, and garbled zip files. The latter is constant, the other two irregular but showing up too often for my liking. And another symptom is that downloads seem to be moving at a fairly sluggish pace for My connection.
Here is what we need to know from everyone having the problem:

Lighthorse, run the V4.2 updater again and it should work. That issue seems to come from how the !DAZ folder is referenced by the CR2 files.Â

I wouldn't know, but you might be able to PM the PA's at DAZ and see if they would tell you. Who would know better than them?

There are no morphs injected or otherwise on sale with the L75 Hillary set. That is very clear on the Features list.

Thread: How do I get the Poser Parameter dials in Carrara for posing? | Forum: Carrara
I was using those as defaults to make things easy to understand. I know they can be moved and clicked on, but that is the default location. And clicking the bodypart on the instance list means you are guaranteed to click the right part, as a few poser character have some strange Joint mesh zoning (not sure if I am describing that right). Vicky 3's Body part zones compared to Vicky 4's for example.Â
(and I forgot about #2 part B)

Don't use the motion tab unless you need an exact value or scale. I never do, I only use the two tools, "rotate" primarily and "move" secondary (I find the "universal manipulator" to be a little cramped and too easy to misclick). First, I select the body part from the tree, so it and all its children are highlighted, the I slip off to the other side of the screen to find the right tool. Once that is done, you should see either a sphere of red, blue, and green circles, or the move arrows of the same colors. Each color refers to a direction and if you click on the colored line, you only manipulate the object along that axis.
I have used poser since Poser 4 and those silly dials for movement are what is keeping me from using it seriously now.

Instead of using those silly and slow dials like in poser, you do things much more directly in Carrara 6. Simply select the body part you want to move, then go to the rotate control (or the move/translate control if the part is at the end of an IK chain) an then grab the control handles and move the part however you wish, though usually there are limits set. It works much faster, move much more fluidly, and subtly. I found that worrying to much about numbers (is that 70 degrees? 75? 72?) that is made posing very robotic . Now I just bend and arm and a shoulder, grab a hand or foot, and place them were I wish.
You actually can do this in Poser as well using the direct manipulator tool, but poser doesn't move fluidly enough for it to be practical.

Nope, all my regional settings are set to US standards (just checked) and all my commas and periods are just where they should be. Thanks. This seems to be a problem only in poser and the only digits that are visibly showing up above the dials are whole numbers. It used to show 0.000 default, now it only shows 0 or 1

Traveler's original licence agreement stated that all the items on his website were free to be used and distributed as long as the were not used FOR PROFIT WITHOUT HIS EXPRESS PREMISSION. Hence all this trouble of people using his works in sales products here and at other online 3D object stores (3-D Commune, Renderocita, and the like). If you have any doubts about putting the file up temparily, until Morph World reopens, why don't you email Traveler and ask. nimbus@telenet.net I know how Diana feel. I'm on my 3rd hard drive this month and the first time it died (and died hard) I lost all my poser stuff. I've only gotten about half of it back now and am making sure everything is backed up on CD regularly. But my morph world stuff, Eve and Azura included is still missing.
