Looks like I saw the contest too late, it's already closed. I would have liked to have entered. I used to enjoy the monthly challenges when they used to have them here.
I couldn't find out who winner was. Can someone point me where the results are?
  Thanks
Thread: * * * Vue challenge for June * * * | Forum: Vue
Hello,
I am curious about the Vue July challenge. I have searched around,
but I can’t seem to find it.Â
My work told me I’m doing too much overtime, even though I’m on salary,
so I thought I’d start entering the contests again as I have enjoyed participating
in the past.Â
Please let me know if the July contest is up somewhere, and I just haven’t
been able to locate it.
Also, if you need some help maintaining the Vue area, let me know.Â
I may be able to help out some, as I do work in the IT industry.

Dang! I missed another contest! I was planning on submitting an entry. Time really flies by these days, and that annoying work thing keeps getting in the way.Â
Â
Please let me know what the next contest theme is when it comes out, so I can try to get something in. Is there like an e-mail notification thing I can sign up for to be notified when the next contest is starting?  Â
Â
I really appreciate this Vue community, and I would like to support it by participating in the contests and events put together for it. I would participate in the forums more if knew Vue as well as a lot of people out there, but alas, I’m still trying to learn it. Â
Thread: Making waves | Forum: Vue
Wow, I was just trying to figure out how to make waves in water earlier today. I was looking through the Vue tutorials on this site, and there are some there that I’ve been trying to work through. But the one linked by dburdick above is great, because it leverages Vue 6’s new capabilities.
Â
If you don’t have Vue 6 yet, I would take the excellent advice offered here in the forums, and look at the tutorials that are here as well.Â
Thread: * * * SGT2005 new Vue coordinator * * * | Forum: Vue
Welcome SGT2005! It's great that you have volunteered to be the Vue forum coordinator.
Â
So, what is a forum coordinator? Please excuse my ignorance, but I’m not too up to speed on this forum stuff. Strange, given my occupation, but you can’t know everything about IT these days.Â
Â
I’m glad you’ll be helping Agiel out. I know he works hard to do all this forum stuff by himself. Everybody is so busy these days; it means a lot when people go the extra mile to support the community. Kudos to the both of you!
Â
I haven’t been around much myself for several months. I’ve been doing the changing of jobs thing. But I’m back and looking forward to enjoying the community once again. I especially look forward to the contests, as they are the only thing that consistently motivates me to actually finish things I start.

Agiel,
Perhaps if you added another moderator and/or coordinator to the Vue forum and Vue Challenge, instead of being the only one, it would make things easier.
I was also wondering why the Vue Challenge entry on the Renderosity Contest page doesn’t have an image like most of the other contest entries.
Thread: Who is better: Vicki 2 or Vicki 3? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for all the advice. I decided to go with Vicki 3, and while I was at Daz, I joined the Platinum club so I could use the 30% off thing and got a bunch of V3 stuff, and even Michael 3, since he was on sale. Thanks again, Mazedog

Thanks for all your input. You guys are great. I do have another question though, if you use the V3 to V2 feature, does the V3-V2 figure loose the advanced features of the V3 body (such as more polygons and better joint bending) or does it just realign V3's joints and proportions to be the same size as V2's? Also, if V3-V2 does just convert V3 to the V2 body, does the V2 body have all they body morphs? I notice that V3 doesn't include head or body morphs in the base package. Thanks

I have a 2.8Ghz intel with 1 Gig of Ram. I am using poser 4 without the propack. I noticed there is a lot of stuff out there for Vicki 2, and not all that much for Vicki 3, even though Vicki 3 has been out for a while now. Are people still mostly using Vicki 2 and not really supporting Vicki 3?
