Well here's yet another update for you all, I've changed some of the layout composition somewhat and trying to keep the same coporate feel of the logo through out all the issues. Going for a cleaner look for this issue trying out some new ideas. A few more details about the second issue are on the magazine site on our website...
Front cover still subject to changes wink Yes I'm picky lol

OK just to update you all...
The deadline for submissions to be featured in Issue 1, will need to be sent to us by 23rd of September as we are pushing for an Oct 1st release date. WIth the magazine running bi-monthly. Any submissions recieved after that date will be carried forward into Issue 2. That will give myself and Anna a week to make the pages up for those final submissions that come in and gives us chance to make sure everything is right before we release it.
All the artists that have so far submitted their work have their pages made, and I am curently tweaking the front page, back page and content of the magzine. And we have some fantastic work on display already let me tell you.
You can submit as many images as you like, all that we require is you try and make them as high-res as possible so that if the magazine does goes to print as we hope, it will aid in the printing process. But if you do not have hi-res images available don't fret we will make do with what you can give us :)
Seeing as this magazine is about you, in fact about all of us artists we would like to offer you the chance to bounce some ideas towards us with suggestions for future content. We are mearly trying to provide a platform to showcase all your work and make this a huge success for all of us. So to make sure we get this right, we'd like to know what you would like to see featured..
We'd like to thank those who have submitted work already, and would hope they continue to submit work for future issues. We both hope, as all of us do that we can make this a success, but we can't do it without you! and your work!
Cheers Mike
You can submit your artwork or poetry work here submissions@forbiddenwhispers.co.uk or to any of the address's Anna gave you. Just let us know a little about you and your work and leave the rest to us.

Ok sorted it :D Only problem i'm having now is.. I set the sensitivity of the dial to 0.00400, and after saving and altering the .pp2 upon reloading the prop back into the scene the dial settings have changed to 0.00024. How do I make it reload with the settings I saved it as? Mike

Thread: new gallery genre - "tutorial" ? | Forum: Community Center
Thank you Varian for the heads up on this subject.. Having posted one of the above mentioned tutorials, listed in the first post of this topic. I do feel as is the idea being laid down here, that a tutorial genre would and could be beneficial to viewers/visitors of the galleries. If we had the chance as Varian is outlining, it would give people an easier opportunity to pick up those tips, and techniques specific to the chosen genre of work they are viewing (2D, Vue, Poser and so forth), rather than the post being made just in the galleries in the hope that people can find it. I know for one that Poser gallery gets pretty swamped most of the time, and a post will buried in no time. Of course, which would probably lead to a fair few number of people missing out on the tutorial post(unless word of mouth alerted them to it). Especially those who are on dial-up (myself included) It is sometimes difficult to browse through pages and pages at a time. And most of the time I browse via the different genre's to make life easier. I don't think it would be difficult to impliment, it would just be a case of adding another genre selection into the upload drop down menu. Thus providing, the chance for people to browse posts easier, without having to wade through pages and pages to find the buried post! Even if people didn't use it much, having it as a selection in the drop down would therefore not require a whole new gallery section to be coded/built.. Just my 2cents worth :) Mike
Thread: Dark Visions - Contest Results | Forum: Contest Announcements
I'd just like to say congratulations to the winners, and to everyone that took part in the contest. There were some really amazing images posted throughout the length of the contest, and even in the final stage it was a tough choice deciding on the winners. But IMHO opinion, everyone was a winner here. There were no losers. I think everyone can walk away from this feeling they have learned something new. So very well done to all those that took part and made the contest the huge success that it was.
