I've had this happen twice since SR1, once with Blu from 3DUniverse in a scene and once with a Particles 2 object in a scene. When I ticked the raytrace option, they rendered OK.

So far all other scenes have been OK so it sounds like what Nerd posted above regarding simple objects/figures.

Apart from needing it for Netherworks V4 Hair Conversion Kit, I'm planning on using it in conjunction with Phil C's wardrobe wizard to get the clothing morphs into converted items.

Not free, but you might want to look at SquareStone at Daz; morphs into all sorts of rocks and rock structures.

Some nice free trial tutorials, very well presented.

Also, would you not be able to place your art on Ebay, see if you get orders and then pay to have them printed and mounted - a sort of "Just In Time" process? That would let you guage the market before spending money on tangible products.

Not sure if that is inline with their TOS, just a thought.

Yep, get a Wacom, not just for the hardware/reliability issues but also the drivers. Cheaper brands can have problems with applications; I had a Trust tablet and the pressure sensitivity didn't work in Manga Studio or Photoshop.

I have a Wacom Graphire (its a dinky little A5 size that feels more comfy than my earlier cheap desk-swallower) and it just works.

Terry, thanks I'll have a further search than I did last night when I was feeling peeved.... :) Being pedantic though, if there's a Content Paradise (yes, this is what I meant) then I want it to work. Not cos I love it but cos it makes me worry about what else is broke and yet to be revealed. Lucstef, yes i do have a large runtime (thanks for noticing) - are double-entendres allowed in the forum?? Koz, my Poser 5 always says Koz hair is not a valid Poser file when I try to add it. I just thought it was Poser 4 only and didn't worry... Anyone in the forum know why this may be? I'd love to get this hair into my Poser scenes. Thanks

Can't change the display background any more, Content Tab locks Poser. Not sure what else has been screwed up by SR4 yet til I find out. I've re-installed and re-applied the patch and its still the same. I've emailed CL so we'll see what happens. My verdict: don't do it, its a waste of time.
