I'd certainly be very interested in that kind of tool - many possible applications :) are you thinking of releasing it in the store here?

Quote - For organic type stuff, Sculptris has getting some good comments. I see now that the makers of ZBrush are somehow involved with the project. I'm not sure what's up with that but I'd grab it now, lest they start charging for it.Â
Thank you so much for this - this was the first I'd heard of this fantastic program and I have to say that it's a dream for creating monsters etc (even for a complete novice like me!). All I have to do now is read some tutorials on creating morph targets and I'll have monsters with scary mouths! ;)
Quote - I opted for W3D when  given the choice between that and Blender and I am happy with W3D.
for water you could use the "deform" commands while in verticy mode and W3D also does a nice random "crumple" command -
then, because W3D is so exelenmt at increasing and quading your polys with its "smooth" command you will prob end up with some nice smooth liquidy splashy shapes.
many thanks for these pointers - they REALLY help :)

That happened to me too with the whole prop - the whiskey shader works wonderfully by itself, tho
Thread: Help! Name needed for new product | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a strong preference for item names that are simple and descriptive - helps so much when trying to search for a product. I'd go for something simple like 'battle truck' or 'armored truck' :)

Thanks Sam - I think both techniques are sure to be very useful - conventional modelling for jets etc and blender's fluid modeling for more 'organic' streams, splashes etc :)
I'm also thinking of trying my hand at simple 'organic' type props (basic 'blob' and worm monsters) - is there an app that's particularly new user friendly for that type of thing, or are they all quite similar?
thanks again :)

many thanks, TG and kendra - I've downloaded both props :) I love TG's scotch shader - perfect, thanks! and the bottle is sure to come in handy! :)

...there's a free bowtie here http://www.sharecg.com/v/28531/poser/Bowtie-for-Freak - it's for the freak, but I'm sure it'll work for M4 with a little scalling down and repositioning.

Quote - Glad to have been of help! I hope though that this discussion will continue.
I hope so too! :) thanks again :)

many thanks to both of you! :) The youtube videos look incredibly impressive (and very complex, I'm sure) - I'll certainly give blender a very focussed try. many thanks again :)

I can't help much, I'm afraid - there is one listed in the freestuff here (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?user_id=20054), but the download link doesn't work. You could maybe try contacting the poster and ask for it?
(there are a few bluetooth earpieces about (eg http://www.artraiders.com/download_page.php?file_id=307) - but I guess that isn't quite the thing you're after...

That's really very nice - and probably about right for a darker whiskey! way better than my feeble attempts :) would you mind giving me some hints about how you set up the shader? :)
Thread: bourbon/whiskey shader? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
@basicwiz - I have, but the result seems flat and unconvincing...
@latexluv - BB's milk and beer are superb (he very generously made them when I was looking for the liquids for a scene a while back). I couldn't agree more, tho - a set of diverse liquid shaders of the same fantastic quality would be very useful (and probably very commercially viable**)

I have to confess that I didn't realize that the morph tool had been improved - thanks for the info
