thank you all. I changed the frame count (and it deleted the animation), I selected the path from the prop list and deleted it, I clicked at zero rotations in the joint editor (didn't make any difference, it was at zero) and I selected the base layer in the animation palette (it was selected). But if I add a pose, the model rests as it was, only the clothes are getting rumpled (see attachment). It seems as if the pose only affects the clothes, though in the hierarchy editor, I put them into the model right in the chest's tree. And, of course, I selected the whole body of the model.

Thanks. This worked, but it's still not possible to edit the pose, bend the legs or add a pose. And the walk path is still visible.

Thanks. This works well now with the clothes.
The pony tail (from the content) is attached automatically, so this isn't a problem. I created hair by using a skull cap ( in this case a beard) and this beard won't move with the figure. What's about that? This doesn't work with object -> change parent nor figure -> set figure parent nor Figure > Conform to.

I have BMP files and several movies. One has 51+101+23+75 images, the other one has 101, another one has 184. Not very much, but I wanted to have completely uncompressed images for the intermediate step and compress it at the very end.

Hi surveyman,
you mean I should downgrade it? Everywhere I'm reading I have to update it. I could take the original driver which Windows wants to install. I had this one and I went better with the newer driver.

I got an info in another forum, that the gpu doesn't make a big difference in rendering anything with Vue, besides OpenGL.
If I switch to wireframe mode option in the settings, Vue is becoming much more stable. As I could see, Vue 8 doesn't has a wireframe mode any more. So I'm afraid of instability. Vue 8 seems to need OpenGL for many features. But it isn't profitable to buy a big graphic card just for this.
What do you say about this?

Which material do you use for ice? If you just take "snow" you'll get nor more than a snowball, but ice has also blue parts.
