All actions were tested in Photoshop 7 and Photoshop CS. I believe they will work in Photoshop 6 as well. (Everything I've read says actions in 7 work in 6 as well.) To use: just load your picture, load the action, and run it. Each action preserves the original, background layer so you don't have to worry about losing your work if you don't like that particular action for that particular render. Just delete the newly created layer and unhide the original background. You can also hide the new Ink layer, unhide the original background layer and run another action so you can see which ink effect you like best for your image. By the way, there are 11 actions, but most actions have 2 settings, one with a thicker line and another with a thinner line (the thinner lined actions all end in 'a'), so you really get 20 actions in all. I created the variants for smaller images so the line work doesn't overpower the image. These actions are now available at Renderosity, and should be released soon at Poser Pros as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to IM me or e-mail me. Enjoy! Run one of the black and white actions, then set it as the top layer. Change the layer blend to multiply. For each item in the image, use a separate layer and color below the black/white ink layer. The black outline will always show above your color.
In this image, I used Ink2a as the top layer and set it to multiply, then ran the action again - yes, you can run the actions multiple times on an image - and used Ink3a just underneath, also on multiply, but only about 55% opacity. I then started coloring the Anime Doll using different layers for different colors. This took less than 5 minutes.

Here's one of the 4 different actions that will produce a black and white, pen & ink effect. (It's one of my favorite actions of the pack.) Again, this image was created from the picture in post 1. All I did was run this action on it. No other post work was done.Thread: Give your Renders some Action - Photoshop action, that is! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase

And here's the result after running one of the ink actions. The image above has no other work done on it from the image in the previous post except for running one of my actions on it and saving it to a .jpg for the web.(Please forgive the .jpg compression - at full size, the image is crisper.)

And, of course, there's the ever favorite lace. But you'll have to check out the store to see it. ;-)Thread: LaRoo clothing texture pack - and on sale starting tomorrow! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase

If you use the texture to make a shirt, it's okay to give away or sell the entire texture map. Just don't put the texture in a fabric textures collection and sell that. Enjoy, NN

For jeans jackets, you can take the denim texture at my link a few posts up and just darken it.
Thanks,
NN

I put the original denim source texture (400x400, 132KB) and a shrunken version (200x200, 32KB) on my site. They are seamless tiles. Use as you want, commercial or free clothing textures, just don't sell the textures themselves.

Thanks to pdxjims for the Ichiro Fantasy Update pack! Now there's more morphs for the Wizard's Robe, a bow, quiver, arrows, and other great goodies! And there's 4 gauntlet textures, 5 quiver textures, and 3 bow textures from me, awaiting your rendering pleasure. The freebies do *not* require purchase of the Robin Hood set. I hope you enjoy the freebies, and my thanks to everyone who has already purchased the texture set!Thread: Make Ichiro a Merry Man! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
If you use the Maximum Texture Resolution of 1024 for the tunic, you may get a slight seam effect on some of the textures with some firefly settings. Change the Maximum Texture Resolution to 2048 and the seam goes away. (The textures for the tunics are 2048, so that's why you might see a less professional effect with firefly at the smaller texture size.) This is not an issue with the P4 settings in Poser 5, nor in P4 or PPP.
Here's a shot of the tunic with a similar pose with the 2048 texture setting.
