Thanks everyone. I'll give these both a shot.
Im not usually intimidated by an interface (unless we are talking about 3DS Max complexity). So the CR2Builder may not be a problem.

Here it is. Its actually a separate site.Thread: Quick Question on Runtimes.. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
For some reason my last post didnt work so here goes again... I understand the 2 options for getting my P5 content merged - Copy the Runtime over or add Runtime to Libraries. From this thread I am getting the impression that merging the content would make injections and loading of things a little faster, but then the question about Internal/External mrophs. If External makes things render faster and uses less memory why wouldnt you just go for it?If I understand correctly, the only drawback is that you lose morphs when importing the file into a 3rd party like Vue or Shade? Are there other ways to deal with the morph loss if I copy the content to the P6 Runtime? Could someone help clarify the pros and cons for me in simple language? Im not really big on 3D technical terminology.
Thread: Change in TOS...New Child Image Guidelines | Forum: Community Center
Can we get an official clarification on boys without shirts on? It does seem to say that in the text, but it seems like it violates common sense.
I'm not looking for any rants, just a Mod to clarify.
Beyond that, I take offense at the many people bringing out their hatred for Conservatives or Christians of which I am one. This is not a case of either one here. Its simply the business of lawyers. They are always looking for someones cause or position to exploit for their gain. I understand that Renderosity needs to protect themselves and I wont complain about that.

Thread: So what's up with this? | Forum: Community Center
Sometimes it isnt even about political views. One of my military images was knitpicked by someone who was just being a jerk. I posted after him trying to give an honest explination of his "issues" with the image and his cronie came along later and just started being stupid and contentious. It may have been motivated by hate for my country/branch of service (assumption based on origin of poster) or by someone that needed to feel better by destroying someone else for the day. Who knows.

YEAY!! Thank you. I always prefer to download the PDF to my laptop and have it available off line. I appreciate your hard work! - Steve

Hey Doc, any chance we will see this in a PDF format? Its a very timely tutorial. I was just working on converting some lightwave models into Poser figures.

I find it completely hilarious that the PS2 is in the free section and the X-Box is in the members section! haha Thanks for the freebees!
Thread: Where are my pictures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well my post expressing the need for a boycot (black background with white text, no cursing) was deemed against the TOS and was removed. I was warned and a mark was placed on my record. I asked that not bother with warnings and remove my account from membership. I assume that this will be my last post. Prog, Mutedbanshee, and other contest people, you are too good for this place. If you find another good venue please drop me a message or IM my wife rifterchick. Because of my decision to leave and stop buying, she wont be buying anything either, but she will continue to post images.
Thread: Where are my pictures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Its done. All my images are gone from this site, never to return. Feel free to take my boycot image and use it to replace the images in your gallery. Its been fun people. I hope to see you on other sites.
Thread: Where are my pictures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok so its true that they own the place and they can do what they want. We can also deal with the problem.
I will not from this time forward purchase an item from Renderosity. I am deleting my gallery as a response to the mistreatment of people. I will replace it with one image in protest.
I will not be back.
I recommend that people band together and find a new site, or create one that can live up to what Renderosity was supposed to be.
Disenchanted,
Steve Edit: I didnt get any images deleted because I changed the names as soon as the contests were over. I was just lucky because all of my best work has been for contests. I wont leave myself open to mistreatment in the future.

Thread: ram woes...again | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I am still basically a newbe to Poser and here is how I deal with the RAM woes. I have 1GB of ram with my virtual memory (paging file) set to 1.5 - 3GB and sometimes I still have trouble. 1. Disc Cleanup before almost every production render. 2. Defrag regularly. 3. Kill my antivirus program and as many of its processes as I can. 4. Using the Material Room in P5 remove any unnecessary/unseen skin textures, etc. 5. Make any hidden geometry invisible by unchecking the "visible" property. 6. Use a dial cleaner on the file before render if you have multiple DAZ characters in it. 7. Delete any scenery that doesnt end up in my final camera angle. 8. If all else fails, render in "layers" by doing multiple renders, each being only a part of the final product and compile in Photoshop. Hope that laundry list helps someone out.
Thread: Newbe and Clothes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Where can I get a good tutorial on applying magnets to clothes? I searched the Tuts on this site and didnt find any. I played around with the magnets a little and got some interesting effects, but not what I intended. Also, thanks again randym77, the tutorial on PoserFashion was great. I completed a successful pose and render with the dynamic clothes.
Thread: Newbe and Clothes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the advice. I took a look at it and it looks like it will be very helpful for the Dynamic clothing. Anyone have advice for the conforming clothing? Is conforming clothing relevant any more? My problem with Conforming was this: "Regular clothing stays on, when it is set to conform to Figure 1 but some skin is always poking through (especially if I have changed the arm size on a guy or breasts on a woman)." Please Advise.
