Very few posts have had to be removed, none for objecting to Premier per se.

Fact, certainly compared to some other contentious issues.

And yet I've gotten more “We’ve removed your post because it referenced or quoted a deleted post" emails than any time since the DRM mess.

I've seen whole threads removed and only the most neutral or favorable posts moved over to the only permitted thread. 

And I got banned after protesting the AI nonsense they implemented, despite having spent tons of dollars (if the Daz-Deals plugin means anything) over the course of the last 12 years, too. :/

Yeah, it was only a matter of time before they moved into the subscription model full-throated: you could argue that Daz+/PC+ was that, but that was more for discounts. This is just them trying to prep people for the inevitable full on subscription model for DS5 (which we will see the Nintendo Switch 2 before we ever see DS5) that will make the "free" version completely kneecapped in comparison to the full version. 

All the more reason why Blender has become my go-to for using Daz Studio assets. (Sorry, Poser, y'all blew it big time by having such ungodly prices and taking too long to get Mac support)

With all the moderating going on, and removed forum posts of valid protest against the scam/ponzi nature of nfts, you'd figure users would migrate over here to have a more open discussion. But it looks like some are just simply walking away from the community completely. Its the beginning of the end.

I'm used to having my posts removed over there (one of the side effects of having strong opinions, lmao), but the rate they're trying to silence any legitimate criticism is terrifying, imho.

If nothing else, I really, really hope this means we'll see the resurgence of smaller online avenues to sell 3D assets for Daz (and other programs, for that matter). I just don't see this ending well at all, and tbf the talk of people stopping support of the Daz store -myself being one of them- will end up hurting the PAs that are caught in the fallout of all of this.

Hard agree. I've voiced my grievances on their forums and it feels like you're yelling at a brick wall. What a dumb business decision to make, especially given the criticism of NFTs and blockchain in general.

Sadly, I suspect if Renderosity had an opportunity, they'd likely drink the NFT koolaid too. Hopefully, the negative blowback Daz is getting (plus Daz's firm support of harmful and environmentally destructive practices) has put off any sort of entertainment of the idea with TPTB over here.

Is Poser 12 going to be supported on MacOS and if so, will it run under the Big Sur update?

I only ask because Daz Studio won't work under Big Sur -and likely won't until mid-2021, and while I think the $200+ price tag for Poser is absolutely ridiculous, I'm open to looking at possible alternatives.

Find a way to integrate Genesis 3/8 content into Poser, and then maybe I'll finally use it.

I received an interesting e-mail the other day that made it clear the content creator wasn't going to make material for "you dirty fags"... so I guess I also have to assume that the insistence against male/male material is also being driven by homophobia... Sad, because I guess I had assumed that Renderosity was beyond that point. It seems I was wrong!

Name names or PM me with the vendors name, because wow, I don't want to line the coiffers of someone who is that homophobic.

Yeah, after hearing from another acquaintance that their CC used here got hacked, I've pretty much decided that I will never renew my Prime membership or buy anything here again. At least, until these security issues get fixed.

It's 2017, Rendo. Get with the times and for God's sake, get your ancient and unsafe infrastructure fixed, especially after this many complaints here and elsewhere on other forums. This kind of laziness is inexcusable in this day and age, especially when cyber security and identity theft are becoming far bigger issues than they were even 5 years ago!
