Genny, Thanks for the info. I thought the tutorial was for general mimic stuff, thanks for pointing me back to it again. I also found while trying different stuff with Mimic that I was able to use the victoria3.dmc config file and the victoria 1 cr2 file and that seemed to get the lip-sync to work too. (using the newly created v3 mimic cr2 file looks better). Thanks again for the quick reply and the help. Paul
Thread: Not all characters work with Mimic... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, I'm also having problems getting Mimic 2 Pro to work with V3. I read through the thread and tried injecting all the morphs/expressions in Poser, then added the Mimic pose for the audio and it did not work.
In mimic I selected the Victoria config file (Victoria3.dmc) and the Victoria 3 cr2 file (Victoria 3 sr1.cr2). This created the lip-sync, but only the head movements/eye blinks. I then exported this to a pz2 file and went into Poser 4. In Poser 4 I brought in the V3 character, injected all the V3 morphs, then the Mimic stuff.
What am I missing here? From one post it looks like you have to create your own config file in Mimic first to get V3 to lip-sync correctly.
Any more details on how to get V3 to work would be greatly appreciated.
Thannks,
Paul
Thread: Problem with multiple walk paths | Forum: Poser Technical
Hi Scott, Thanks for trying that out and the info. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or is wrong with my system. I've tried rebooting, starting from a saved Poser file with the 3 working figures, but after I add the 4th figure all the walk paths kind of "lock" and I can't modify the curve. Everything else works fine with 3 or 4 figures. If anyone has any info on what the problem may be with my system please let me know. Thanks, Paul
