If you're skilled in the Material Room, you could improve on the skin shader or add gamma correction.

Here's a render using the simple node setup I showed. Default lighting, default pose, no GC, no skin shader - but it gets the basic idea across.

The basic color blending concept doesn't need displacement, but in this example I could have added some displaced seams to make it look less fake.

If the two layers never get displaced from each other very much - for example if you're not making a spandex body suit that is visible separated from the skin in a cleavage area - then use a Blender node or a bunch of them.
Make a mask, black where you want one color and white where you want the other. Use the mask to control the Blender node, and connect the two different textures you're overlaying to the two color inputs.

I'd use a second figure conformed to the first. Add a little displacement to the top layer if you want it to be opaque and hide the figure underneath.
Thread: Can't install DAZ content | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Tell it to install for DS, then point it to your Poser runtime. The Poser runtime shouldn't be in whatever they're calling Program Files these days.
I doubt a Daz installer would be kind enough to say what the actual error is, or file an error log. I suspect it's trying to search for the Poser installation, but iunno.

Not a realistic scene, but there isn't a lot of room in the primitive cube I used.
I didn't make it obvious but the camera is rotated a bit in the horizontal plane, so any distortion of the tile pattern on the wall would be exaggerated.

Quote - in yourscreenshot you used limbs, torso and head?
And eyes. The UVs go from 0 to 2. The UV scale is unchanged so as not to affect procedural materials, but the different parts are offset horizontally and/or vertically by 1 unit.

Thread: New Reality (lux render) Plugin over at Daz...time for Poser Plugin Update? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, I found my problem. I'd set a PYTHONPATH environment variable, pointing (only) to an install of Python 2.6. Apparently it was in conflict with Poser Python.

I evidently broke Python somehow - it works on a different computer. I'll have to do some troubleshooting. Thanks for the assistance.
