Thanks for the responses. I tried the wave deformer option first and got the sam results as I did with bend....it changed the number of verticies. Guess I'll have to go to the magnet option. I have been avoiding those guys like the plague, don't now how to use them and have heard they can be a bear. Guess this is as good a reason to learn them as any. Thanks for the replys.

Thread: Let me get this straight. | Forum: Carrara
Several days latter and the frustration level has gone down quite a bit, probably because I have not been on the computer in that time. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who responded to this, you have all given me somethings to think about. One of the greatest pleasures I have found since I started working in 3-D are the folks you find here at Renderosity. From getting rookie questions answered to getting good tips on posted works, and in this case being able to vent a little frustration and get some good advise in return, you guys always seem to come through. Thanks again everyone.
Thread: Problem With Ray Dream | Forum: Carrara
After much thought I have come to the conclusion that Ray Dreams SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never delt with a program that had as many bugs in it as this one. And the fact that I apparently have to dish out another 100.00 or so bucks to upgrade it just so the crashes slow down really chaps my buns. There is no way I'm going to put another penny into this program, it should have worked like it was expected to work when they shipped it the first time. Sorry for the rant, frustration level is very high at the moment. Now if you will excuse me I have to go make a gerble hut out of my RDS CD. Thanks again for all the help guys and gals.

Not sure what you mean by exporting into the vertex modeler. Do you mean use the jump into new modeler command. If so the only choices I have are to jump into mesh form modeler.
Thread: RDS Patch?????? | Forum: Carrara
One of the most frustrating problems is RDS seems to freeze up everytime I try a boolean operation on two mesh forms, or objects made with the free form modeler. Any suggestions?
Thread: Question about RDS primatives | Forum: Carrara
Thanks for all the advise gang. I got pretty frustrated with RDS and had to walk away for a breather, but I will try the mesh form modeler for better results. Again thanks for all the input.
