PhilC, Expect to hear from my attorneys for the pain, suffering and mental anguish I had to endure when your post caused me to expel a carbonated diet beverage out of my nose. LOL. Talk about a sinus enema! I didn't see it coming. All I can think about now is the movie "Krippendorf's Tribe". Cheers, RWB64

Hmm, Look out Jerry, Mickey, Speedy, Sniffles there is a new mouse in town! SCHWARZENMAUS!!! Kicking ass and taking names. NYC sewer rats are girly rodents! Cats, its a whole new world! I think I like it. Slap an enourmous phallic cigar in this guys mouth and he has more attitude than Arnold AND Sly. Nice one.

Well you see I never sign my pets names to my holiday cards so people will feel free to bring their hamsters over for a visit. My ball pythons don't mind.(evil grin)
(I am sorry about the duct tape and this crack as well. It is the season of glad tidings and 'cutseyness' and I just get overloaded and react. How about a nice demonesque "Satan Claws" suit for Nybras?)

Martin Short's "Ed Grimley" character. LOL Remember the 80's gave us what I referred to as "that just raped" right after the movie "Flashdance". Girls were cutting necks out of sweatshirts and cutting holes in all sorts of garments.

"As has been suggested, there's the grotesque genitalia, not that I'd expect DAZ to sell a vagina with teeth." "Apparently, DAZ asked that the pubes be removed." Sheesh, is EVERYONE "family friendly" (read "sanitized for your mentation")? It would have been more historically accurate to add such things. How about a morph to put a secondary head where the tail is? Lest someone think I am a really sick individual look at some of the older depictions of demons in woodcuttings and paintings. Are there really a lot of children using Poser and the various sites to purchase stuff. Wouldn't using a credit card mean they had to be an adult? Or were impersonating one and that is on them or their parents?

There is a female version (sans nipples and genitalia it seems) and a smaller "baby" demon in the expansion pack. 2 bucks for the main pack and $11 something for the expansion. Seemed too good to pass up even though this type of character doesn't usually float my boat.

I couldn't resist. Too cheap to pass up. The expansion and Brutus texture weren't too expensive. Plus I got the only other thing I had on my DAZ wishlist. Regarding Nybas. I hate to be the resident vulgarian but isn't he missing something? I thought all demons were suppose to have large and grotesque genitalia. Any way to add some wedding tackle to the poor boy or is that why he is always in a bad mood?

ARGH!!! OK I am not an Xmassy type person and I am usually live and let live. But if you were a close neighbour to this guy could you imagine it? After making sure everyone in the family had spoons in their mouths for the repeated seizures they would suffer, the near misses from confused aircraft, the UFO's attempting to land...IT'S ONLY DEC FIRST!! Don't you think you might become a bit unhinged and at the very least make a late, late night visit with wire cutters?

A bagpipe that doubles as a hookah?! Well. I guess we know how they put up with that racket. PS I actually like a lot of music from the pipes. I'm drawn to instruments that drone but I couldn't resist.

Gee a real gorilla didn't actually say all that? I am so disappointed... Of course I knew it was Al Pachino's voice. And I recognized it as lines from "The Devil's Advocate". You asked why use a gorilla as Satan. IMHO I thought it was appropriate as one needn't be Satan to think that the Judeo-Xtian God as he is portrayed by most mainstream religions is much the way Pachino describe Him. I thought it was a clever use of an Ape giving the lowdown(whether you agree with it or not) on God given the Evolution/Intelligent Design nonsense going on today.
Thread: THE DEVILS PRIMATE -PROFANITY/CONTROVERSIAL | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I actually thought considering the assinine debate over Darwin's Theory of Evolution vs Intelligent Design, (in the States) that having an ape discuss and explain the nature of God was quite clever and powerful. Imagined if it happened to YOU at the zoo.LOL Cheers, RWB64

Thank you for the permissions Freebass. He tells me he used to play guitar and I know he likes hot cars, hot Hogs and hot women. You need to render a girl with a Les Paul strapped to the back of her bike. I have a 1978 Les Paul Custom, black w/ white trim, and it was the first year they offered the silver hardware option! Wish I could get my dobro rendered. It has a maple pattern on its top that makes it pretty enough for furniture. Thanks Acadia I think I WILL send him "Sorrow". Much obliged. markk he is just a regular guy. A few weeks older than I am so he is 41. Sort of classic Rock and Roll with Black Sabbath being his favourite. It follows that his choices in art are often dark, gothic themed. He is a big fan of fantasy art and artists and can rattle the names off of a half dozen of them at the drop of a hat. He does some figure work too. I had sent him printouts of wallpapers I had that I actually think were done in whatever version of Bryce was out at the time. That seemed to open his head up a little when he saw nighttime scenes with ufos and pyramids with glowing glyphs on them! But mostly he likes the dragon, warrior, warrioress, skeleton sort of thing. But I try and send him a variety of media to study as the prison is SUPPOSED to do inter-library loans but he cannot find any books of artwork. Go figure. Thanks all so far that have replied or given their permission. Since this thread has fallen off the front page tell your Poser 5 friends if you would. I am sort of surprised that more folks didn't reply but maybe they think its better that someone in jail has no joy than trying to help him. I dunno. Again thanks! Cheers, RWB64

Well actually it has been my experience thus far Acadia that something to look forward too, even if it is months away gives him a big pick me up. Different things I have sent him, up to date information we have sent him, etc., have already made him decide that he would like to have a computer when he gets out. Prior to that it was just, a job, a house, a woman that loves him, a truck and a dog. We should all be so lucky. The whole computer revolution just sort of passed him by while he has been away. He earned his HVAC degree while he served his time and now does work for the prison and assists in teaching it. I imagine a job will be something he can get. Also having a supportive family for the first time in 30 odd years will hopefully make a difference. I'm relatively poor being disabled and can't get him the house, woman, truck or dog. But I do have a LOT of spare computer parts and a few people that owe me favours and plan to make sure when he gets out,(he may well be staying with us) he will have a computer, hopefully loaded with Poser 5. I hope I know enough to be able to explain things to him quickly but I know that I will have to teach him the Internet as well. In my experience this requires a whole paradigm shift to get a handle on. Ten years ago it was all greek to me. Then one day something shifted and it made a lot more sense. In his own words prison makes one learn patience. Showing him a few pictures will make it easier for me to explain what I mean. Meanwhile I plan to keep helping him obtain any of the art supplies he needs. I just want to expose him to digital art so he can see that it is not as primitive as he might think nor is it as constrained. Get him thinking about the possibilities. Cheers, RWB64
