Especially, the SBRM stuff! I don't have any of the updates for anything updated since the HiveWire store closed. So that's like ... over a year now, right? Rather than keep up the list I started, I will probably just download and install/reinstall all the Songbird ReMix and Nature's Wonders once they are added to my account.

I got something like 70 "product sold" emails today. So, hopefully, I will soon see my purchases showing up in my account.

It's as much as 30 seconds (or more) once I've injected morphs. Whether it's selecting another object in the scene or selecting a camera, trying to change a parameter or rotate or move a camera. Creating poses and setting up dynamic cloth simulations is painful.
However, I am glad to know it's not an problem with my installs, but a Windows update problem. But, if we have to wait until Microsoft fixes whatever the update broke, we could be waiting a really, really long time.
Is Bondware checking into it?
Sadly, resetting to factory scene seemed to be a temporary fix

The new Poser 11 Content folder was not installed where I'd previously installed my Poser 11 Content. I had to search through my hard drive to finally find it. I liked when we were given an option as to exactly where we wanted the Poser runtime to be installed.

I also prefer the previous icons. Which is probably typical for those of us who find change a bit difficult. Especially, when the change doesn't seem like a necessary change. Oddly though, I liked the previous change in icons from the shadowed icons to the flat icons.
The new props icon just totally annoys me. I suppose it makes sense in that hats are frequently props rather than figures. But ... I still find myself questioning what that icon is for.

Thanks Miss B and Glitter.
As you can probably tell, I absolutely love Dawn and all the other HiveWire figures.

Woman in Veil was based on the Bronzino Portrait of Laura Battiferri, who was an Italian poet during the Renaissance period.

Nor should we forget HiveWire's House Cat
(With the HiveWire Big Cat)
Or the HiveWire Dog
And the Big Cat again

Then we have Dusk as an alien ambassador and Dawn as his mate.
An early Dusk
And another early Dusk, absolutely one of my favorites.
The HiveWire Horse has been just as fun to work with
And of course ... Brielo out for a stroll with her companion

Dawn has been able to give me rather elegant ladies ... in this case, Editha Gellis McGwinn II, Explorer and Traveller Extraordinaire
Or perhaps ... more to other's liking ... a Girl in a Scarf
Or maybe even, Miss Gladden, Lady Detective
Or perhaps even, the Woman in Veil

One of my absolute favorites though has been Brielo, who was joined by several members of her family.
Her Grandmother, Gran Ola
then Podgie and Niblet
All of Brielo's family used a lot of body part scaling, which both Dawn and Dusk held up well to.

I rather anxiously awaited the release of Dawn way back in 2013. Needless to say, I dove into the HiveWire waters with both feet and never looked back. It was with relief that I retired V4, and the rest of the Gen 4 characters.
One of my early characters in 2013 was the rather haughty Louisa, which was an entry for the HiveWire Dawn contest.
Another was Riley in her Outpost, also an entry in the HiveWire Dawn Contest.

While many content providers no longer support Poser, I think it's important to know whether it was feature difficulty or missing features that led to those content providers abandoning Poser, as well as the last version of Poser they used. If their brokerage or their customers prefer they support a specific software which isn't Poser, there isn't much any Poser development team can do about that. Content creation is easier and more efficient in Poser Pro 11 than it was in Poser Pro 2014, just as Poser Pro 2014 improved content creation.
While I've not been developing content near as long as many others, I've not found Poser all that unfriendly in creating content. There are certainly things that would make rigging easier or quicker, but for me, it's more a lack of knowledge than a Poser issue.
As a user, I've been amazed at how many times I've been told you can't do something in Poser when that functionality has been in Poser for years ... and works rather well. It's a complex piece of software, and the manual isn't the most helpful one I've ever read. It's also not the worst.
There's also a lot of misinformation and inaccurate information about Poser. With the loss of the RDNA forums, too much valuable or "how to" information disappeared. Even then though, if something wasn't clear in the manual (or the manual assumed knowledge I lacked), I could search for days and never find any answers or even helpful information.

Granted, I don't use the Fitting room to convert clothing from one figure to another, so I can't speak to how difficult or how easy it is to do so. Since I've never used the DS Transfer Utility, I can't speak to that either. Sadly, DS is required to use it, and I just won't install DS on my production computer (and I no longer have a secondary computer).
However, I do use the Fitting room to rig clothing I've modeled, and for me it is always a predictable and usable result with a few clicks. Although, it's probably closer to 5 clicks rather than 3 clicks. I prefer to add the morphs at a later stage though. It's just my preference.
