Sounds like some weird dream. What have you been smokin' lately, Ianfe? j/k Funtile. Uh-huh... g The whole, torn apart, battling the waves to be together but better off to let themselves be torn apart for now and brought together by nature itself later... is cool. Very interesting, evocative, and weird. hug

Thread: What do you expect from your fractals? | Forum: Fractals
Just for the people who are probably really confused now... my other online nick has the initials BF. He always calls me that. Rollseyes When I equated symmetry and harmony and beauty, I was thinking of the other type of symmetry. I should have been more clear. Asymmetry is of course, more concerned with harmony than exact symmetry is, and yes, asymmetry is a type of symmetry. Sort of. g A beautiful explanation, Ian, thanks.

Arista - had to check out your gallery after that... what are you doing in the beginners gallery? Sean - (lol) You've definitely done some interesting work. I've noticed your pieces over the last couple of weeks, but hadn't really paid attention to the artist, my bad. what program(s) are you using? Ian - symmetry isn't an evolutionary goal? Then how is there so much of it, so much beauty? Or is it merely that as humans, we perceive certain things to be harmonious and pleasing when they fit naturally into their space and role in the universe? For myself, I came into fractals purely for fun. I saw what fabulous images other people were creating, downloaded a program, and got hooked. I just want to create something interesting and beautiful, and have a great time exploring while I'm at it.

I found a site with some textures... more suited to webpage stuff, but may be useful to at least start making your own pattern from.Thread: Extra maps for VFemina added to MW3.0 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

That might be interesting. Or to add in a very slight brown or grey highlight pattern on the scales. Do you have a scale texture that you like? How about just fiddling with the colours in PSP or PS.

THANK YOU! I got the RPGTravelingBard, and another RPGwhatever character that uses some stuff from the 20's man, from the props guild. Yes, I am that new to poser. Just joined renderosity a couple of weeks ago, and keep seeing "get this at so and so's place" without seeing links to so and so's place. ;) Gosh, and I just did the same thing myself... www.propsguild.com even though you probably know it. :) ~SG

Hi. Me again. I just double-checked cdTree, and it will scan all the files on a certain drive, including CD drives, and will make a record of that in it's database. You can then save as html. So it won't save straight to txt, but it is a pretty cool program, and will tell you exactly what you have on any CD. html may be a better option anyway. I am not affiliated with the program in any way. I just use it myself, and thought it would be useful for someone here.Thread: Morph World's New Address, Update, etc | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey, I found a shareware or freeware prog called cdTree, that will scan a particular directory and make a list of everything that's in there. I don't remember much else about it, I've only used it once or twice. But that might be cool for keeping a database of what's on which CD... jsut search for it on google or something.
