This one was one I had made a bit ago to eventually turn into a portrait pic for a forum icon at another site - the full size turned out so well that I posted it *S* To my surprise when I looked at my gallery today it had the most hits so far with 652 viewings and these coming up after:"VoluptuousWitch"
602 viewings
http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=788162&Start=19&Artist=Shakti27&ByArtist=Yes
"Lady Death"
599 viewings
http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=359830&Start=37&Artist=Shakti27&ByArtist=Yes
"Tatiana, Mistress of Lightning"
470 viewings
http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=672012&Start=37&Artist=Shakti27&ByArtist=Yes
Bathing Angels (For Chrislenn)
452 viewings

Getting back on track with the topic at hand, I have to agree with a comment above that when I really get steamed, tis better for me to stay away from the keyboard than to hurt anyone else with it - sometimes the more PO'ed I get, the better my renders turn out to be ;) imagine that LOL - some of my best textures and images have come out of extreme moods.
As for making this a pay site, as the saying goes "if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns." If its pay to play, then only those with $ can play - and on that note, I concur with some of the opinions above. I'd be outta here on the next bus if that happens.
My work may not be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but heck, without Poser and the like, I'd be more psychotic that I am now LMAO ;) - Cheers!

Thread: Is it just me??? (24 days of gifts for you from daz published artists) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I personally love all the freebies that have been offered here, at DAZ, at RDNA and other sites this Xmas season - whether I can use them or not. I love them not for the value to myself, but the care that was put into them to create them. All those that have donated the stuff did it out of the goodness of their hearts :) and hugs to everyone who took that time isnt that what Xmas is all about? Giving? Sure, they may not all work for what I have in my inventory, but I know someone out there will be able to :)
It is as it has been said: You can please all the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but never all the people all of the time.
I say be thankful for what you have, since some dont even have a house, let alone a computer. Merry Xmas and thank you to the artists who make such wonderful things :) Never stop doing it either no matter who says what :)

Thread: To comment or ....not to comment ...that is the question. | Forum: Community Center
When it comes to comments, sure, I like coming home to the ebots in my mail saying I have comments on my images - puts a good end on the day for me. It shows me that my images were seen, and hopefully, appreciated :) and I cherish every one of them, whether its 3 or 30 or whatever. A lot of times I wish there was more time in the day so I could comment on all the excellent art here whew since there is so much that is so very good :) Believe me, there are tons of artists here that are wayyyy better than I am LOL and I am always still learning - I dont think we ever really stop as artists. When I feel there is something the artist can do to make a change in a piece, I usually take it to IM so I can explain my POV better instead of posting it in a comment that may be in error - the artist may have intended for it to be that way and I never want to step on any toes LOL Take it from me, I'm no one to tell any artist that somethin's wrong LMAO And thats my two centolas :)

Shibbit, I had just posted my entry for the Warrior Contest a cppl days ago - didnt figure I'd stand a chance but thought what the heck? Now I get home from school and find it gone. No explanation, no image, no anything. Sure I was PO'ed at first, and then I read this thread and others like it. Surprisingly, I calmed down and made a decision. After SVDL's contest is over, that's the last Render contest I'm entering....EVER. And that's that. I am curious however about paintgirl's contest and how its a copyright violation since she's not getting any kind of financial compensation for it. scratches head Anyhoo, I'm outtie.

I found one of mine there :( as well as one of DSR's, AB's, and Spiritfoxy's just to name a few - sheesh those peeps are shameless since I saw Boris, Olivia and Coca-Cola images too - they are seriously courting trouble since Boris has even sued people for posting his images without permission. sighs if they would ask or give credit, it wouldnt be such a big deal.

Thread: what does NVITWS mean ? | Forum: Community Center
sighs all the po gal did is ask what the acro meant and all this happens - everyone does art differently and likes different things - that's what gives it variety; we're all still learning and that's what will make us better artists in the long run. That's all I wanted to say :) hugzzz to mrsparky for having the Q answered and muchly then some lol

Not to get sticky, but arent we straying from the point of this? I thought this was about the upload limits for the future - not whether or not someone is right or wrong about how many are going on now. I may post 3 some days and sometimes 3 in one month - depends on what I come up with at any given time. This isnt a contest to see who has the most of anything (or so I assumed). I thought this was a chance to voice our opinions on change - not to attack one another. Our viewpoints are like our art - it's all different but all are good since they're different right? *plink, plink* (Up to four cents now lol)"First comes the chaos, the change, then the growth" - Madelyne Pryor

Well, my *two cents* is this: I personally like it the way it is, but I also agree that when you post an image, use some discretion. And by discretion, I mean that really work hard at what you do and give it 100% b4 you post. I have made some stuff that I wasnt really proud of that my peers here have never seen just for that reason. And some of the stuff "in my mind", well, let's just say heaven forbid it ever gets to render LOL. I will say this, I have been thankful for this place because it gives my work a chance to be seen and to be commented on, whether good or bad. We all grow as artists, even the "veterans". A student never stops teaching and a teacher never stops learning. I say leave the upload limit where it is but just keep in mind what your showing. None of us is under contract to put stuff out, like authors or movie makers, so we can afford to put out the best stuff we can in our own timetable. Pressure to perform can choke off artistic inspiration, so take your time. My own art isnt always the best in the world, but that's life. ;o)"First comes the chaos, the change, then the growth" - Madelyne Pryor
