I think the best characters are the most realistic.. I need some realistic villains so I'm hoping that somebody out there will do a KKK uniform and some Nazi uniforms still.. Please make sure the swastika is highly visible as it's going to be a very prominent feature to shock people in my story that should be like the movie "Fatherland"..

An interesting opinion and for me I find it really depends on what type of enviroment you want but when it comes to realism, LuxRender/Studio can't be beat. 

I've enjoyed the discussion you guys have had but even with the Vue 2014 version using "photometric" lighting, you can't really beat that perfectly crisp lighting that you get with reality... especially when you take the cost into account.  Daz for free, I bought reality 2 on sale for like $30 dollars... When compaired to $400 dollars for Vue Complete (not the full version that cost $1700) it really is no competition. 

I think the real issue is what we plan to do with the software... If you want to make outdoor landscapes then of course use Vue.. but if you want to make any type of portraits with human characters then Daz/Poser exporting into Lux really is the hands down winner... besides, you can always fake landscapes by using 2D backgrounds in combination of other 3D elements.

You can try and export DAZ/Poser to Vue and I've made some really 'nice' renders and they each have a good use but when you factor in cost and ease of use, straight using of DAZ and Reality 2 win hands down for me.

I do like my expansive outdoor scenes, so I keep using Vue but if you have a budget then Vue is off the table, too little for a lot of money that doesn't convert into any spectacular.

Thanks for taking the time to hear me out...  You really do have a great site and some really great artist that contribute to your page.  I miss being able to shop on this page the way I use to... where I could open my bookmarks and see just the latest V6 characters made by all the different authors.. (for example)

If you guys ever do decide to bring back the filing hierarchy, you'll at least have one more happy customer... till then, take care and thanks for making a great community page.

Thanks for take the time to reply to me... Your general searches are messy and useless to me becaues it leaves me sifting through hundreds of products that I don't want to see... before... You guys had a filing hierarchy where I could bring up just v6 or m6 character skins or just poses or just clothing.. now its all lumped into one broad search.. before I could bring up just 2d picture assets that were png.. Why you guys ever got rid of your filing system, I'll never know but I don't want to spend hours sifting through products in general catagory searches and thats why I haven't bought a thing from you guys since you got rid of the filing system and probably won't by anything from you guys ever again...

You had a perfect great system and they got rid of it... that was really silly and the only reason I'm even bothering to tell you about it is because at one stage, I really did love this page and enjoyed checking it to see what new things were coming out.. now its just like searching giant trash bins with everything lumped together.. not cool.

Take care and I hope that someday you guys decide to restore a filing system that separates the skins from the poses from the clothing... you had it right in the past.

I just wanted you to know why a former customer wasn't wasting time shopping on this page.  I want to see the products I want and not just broad searches.

Oh and its even worse with vue.. I don't want to have to see vue objects if I'm looking for ecosystems or plants or scenes. 

Your filing system is missed and I know I'm just one customer and your not likely to bring back the filing system but I thought you should know.

They need to restore the product directory that they already had... it was foolish to remove it because now I can't find the products I want to purchase.  I'm angry at you guys and frustrated because you keep messing up good things.

Look, I'm trying to help Renderosity because its a great site even if your web page navagation is shit.. and it is.  Everything about your current customer experience is shit and if it wasn't for the fact that you are still a wonderful community of people, I'd be gone and not telling you its shit to help you improve it.

Put a product directory on the front page.. If I want to buy a V6 or Genesis 2 character, I should be able to navagate to a page with nothing but the type of products that I want to purchase... you should have a drop down menu so I can go from any spot.. whether its for DAZ, Poser or Vue or whatever program the artist use... now come on... get it together and fix things.

How do I find all the V6 and M6 related character and poses?  I use to be able to do a search option through the 'marketplace' menu.. how would I locate just the items I'm interested in buying?

It's interesting you would thank me for the feedback you just ignored.  I suppose it would be helpful if everytime we have something to say we find the appropriate thread before we have an opinion...  Maybe you can just quickly show me the round file but you guys really are trying to drive customers away.
