Blender 3D looks like a promising program. I have just started the tutorials and what not to learn how to use it, but it's free and I have seen a lot of incredible images coming from their site I recommend you check it out. It's meant to be a full featured but free open source program.

Fight the good fight eh? I go just the weapons we will need to dominate :) 7th level induction coil, superheated chambor, and double reciever and best of all it doubles as a flashlight!

Wow, I want to join up! My qualifications? Well, I have many. Last year finally concluded our victory in the 5 year struggle known as the Lasgo Wars. I design starships and weapons (as can be proven in my gallery) and I have traveled to a few extrasolar planets. I was the chief commander of the 3rd Quadrant Core (armed forces) after I designed a special holographic projection ray (and top nodge computer graphics) which tricked the Lasgo army into thinking we were attacking them from the right when in fact we were attacking from the left so I am very resourceful. Um, guess that's about all I can cover w/o a personal interview ;) and no I am not a robot :P You got my contact info and you I know I can be a valuable member of your crew :)

That was something I wasn't sure on. Maybe have a list of new members that have submitted something, or even a list of all new works submitted for a given month per art gallery and decide that way. If worse comes to worse, there could be a brief essay contest explaining why they deserve it and we could vote...I don't know. All I know is that it would be nice for that opportunity to be available to someone.
