That's not how I read that statement. "Virtual Fashion [the company/service] is an Internet-based online service that allows you to use the Virtual Fashion Works software [the software you buy] when you subscribe and pay a fee [the purchase cost] as indicated by the terms and conditions of your purchase. [...] While your license is active and paid for you are entitled to all updates, upgrades and use of the community included as part of the service." To me, that says that you buy Virtual Fashion Works and that grants you a one year subscription to Virtual Fashion the service, which includes updates and upgrades to the VFW software. In short, you buy it once and get a service which means you can have free upgrades for a year, if and when they become available. Pretty standard software stuff, really. "Software" and "service" are not equivalent here.
Thread: Using Opera Web Browser in Marketplace | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
This problem came up a few months ago when Verisign went a bit weird. Opera does extra checks (OCSP) to make sure that a security certificate is still valid. If this check can't be made, then it assumes failure and so stops the whole thing. Close Opera, then TEMPORARILY add the following line to your opera6.ini, under the [Security Prefs] heading: OCSP Validate Certificates=0 The .ini file is the one usually found in [...]/Opera/profile/ Then start up Opera again and you can checkout without problems. When you're done, you should close the browser again and remove the line.

I've been using multiple runtimes for a while now, with separate libraries for each figure. The problem then is having to keep going back and forth between runtimes for general purpose materials, multi-use texture maps, and stuff like that. Then I found out that shortcuts work. Add a shortcut to /Runtime/libraries/Hair/NiftyHair/ to /Runtime A3/libraries/Hair/ and bingo, NiftyHair appears within the A3 library. Suppose you have /Runtime/libraries/Materials/Multi-use/.../... /Runtime/libraries/Materials/Multi-use/.../... /Runtime/libraries/Materials/Multi-use/.../... Then you can make a shortcut to the Multi-use directory in /Runtime A3/libraries/Materials and you'll never have to leave the runtime again.
