I to had this issue.

It has to Window's Internet Explorer 11.  When you update to this version for some reason it disables the Poser Library window.  I went in to my Windows auto updates and uninstalled that updated (Internet Explorer version 11)  rebooted and that fixed the problem.  Poser 9 or higher will not work with IE-11 for some reason.

Forum locked up and I had pressed the send button several times over several minutes. B4 having to reboot my internet to get it to work again.  It looks like it actually posted each time I pressed the send button.

Thanks Ghostship for giving me a sugestion.  And please excuse me for being ingnorant...but what is a "Preff" file and what is the site that the toutorial is found? I'm obviously struggling with the termonology

My Poser 2014 is a full version and was loaded from scratch.  Why would I have exactly the same problem with a brand new full version install.....?

BTW, I didn't uninstall the old versions.  My Poser 9 was made to use a lot of the poser 6 files becaus I have so many.  But I am unable to even open my libraries tab to create a new scene or point old download adons to my PP2014.  So my PP2014 is a useless $500.00 program to me.  I am still able to use my Poser 9 since it is still pointed to some of the poser 6 scene files.  I just don't have the ability to create any new scene files from scratch.  The only file I can work with in PP2014 is the factory state file that opens when you open the program. Library is blanked out denying me access to everything old OR new.  

I am just thankfull I can still use Poser....even though is version 6.

Hopefully this is a little more helpful in explaining my delemma.

First, I'd like to thank everyone for their imput.  I have come to realize that it really does come down to patience.  So, at the time I wrote this response, I am rendering.  The image I am rendering has been doing so for about 9 hours (it is amazing what can be done - patience wise - with a good night's sleep >LOL<)

This is the least grainy of any I have done so far.  It is still grainy - just not as bad. 

I will display an image soon - once the renders are better.

Found what I was doing wrong.  Thank you Netherworks.  When I first installed Poser 9, I also had Poser 6 (Still do) I thought that P9 was a 64 bit so I installed it in the "program" files.  But my original install was in Program files(x86).  This is my working program....NOT the install made to the "Program" folder.  I opened poser9 via the x86 file and there the addon file was.  And now I've access to the Reality3 program.

I just rebooted my PC and I reinstalled the SR3.1 and STILL there is no addon folder in Python.   If I can't get the program to work, then I'll just have to give up and cut my losses.  Right now this program is worth little more than a digital paperweight and a REAL source of aggrivation.

But Like I said in my first post, I'm and idiot.

Windows "addin" is what it is.  But I don't think that it applies to poser9

SR3 IS installed.  If the installation is not complete, then what can I do to get it to complete?

I really thank you for the help you giving me.

BUT Nope!  Still no addon file in Python.  

SP3 was installed. Under help menu in Poser9; in the "About Poser" section, it says that I have Poser 9.0.3.23027.   It had been 9.0.1.....

Truth be known, I really have WAY to much invested in this poser9 program to have to reinstall it just to get the Reality3 to work.  So, if there is no other way to get to work, then I'll just try to get reimbersed for this program.  If they'll allow me to do that

So, whatever you can do to help further I'll try...just won't reinstall Poser9

64 bit....Windows 7 Ultimate.  C:drive>programs>Smith Micro>Poser9>Runtime>Python>Reality3

Directions say that there should be an "addon" folder in the Python folder, but there isn't one in my poser9 program.  I'm afraid that I've dug myself in pretty deep with this purchase.  More problems than the program was worth...I think

But thanx for the help tho.

It worked!  Runtime Loaded and seems to have no issues - as of yet.  For me, it is always something simple that baffles and evades my limited mind.  Thanx Teyon for your help...My Poser 9 program is no longer a digital paperweight

You are correct in assuming I was going the cut and paste route. AND you were also correct in assuming that that method did NOT work. 

I will go to the link you sugested and see if the advise it gives works...thanks for your quick response.  I will let you know how it works out.  Wish me luck...
