After all my anguish and gnashing of teeth, The Toolbox has suddenly appeared again. Please don't ask me what I did. I'd be lying if I said I knew. The only answer I might give is, "Sometimes you wake up in the morning and things are all better." Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts!

Thanks for your help, everyone. Apparently, that wasn't the issue. I'm at a loss to see how something could to be so complete in my 'Daz Library Folder" and to have worked for a month and then stopped. Recently I loaded a lot of older content off my Daz 'Product Library Page' at Daz3D using the Dim loader. Could something I downloaded to my Library have affected a change in other files? Namely Powerage's Wetskin Toolbox? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, SilentWinter, those were typos on my part. And thanks so much for responding. I was beginning to think some kind of rapture occurred and I wasn't invited. Everything appears to be accounted for, but I didn't use a fine tooth comb. I'll have to go back and recheck in more detail. I did reload it twice again, just to be sure. But no Powerage under Genesis8female/material/wetskin/toolbox. Forgive my ignorance, but is a duf. file the same as a DSON file? Because when I searched the wetskin toolbox 'searchbox' for duf., only dson files appeared. I am relatively new to Daz Studio, so the technical terms often go over my head. Again, thanks for your patience.

I suppose I was waxing a little Phi, but I'm always amazed at the rapid pace of technological breakthroughs and changes. We've come further in knowledge in the past 20 years than the previous 500 or more. A Nuc is a very small computer 2"X4"X4". Great speed and memory. Built to have as few fryable parts as possible.

Food for thought. I have several monitors. My main a 32" which also serves as a TV. I have a few ex-computers as well. I am currently using an Intel NUC computer, which has served me well. So many roads, so few directions. As soon as one becomes comfortable with a certain technology, it becomes obsolete. (i.e. floppy discs, cd drives, and who knows how long before thumb drives are obsolete? Technology struts and frets upon the eternal stage which most of us will never comprehend. We can only be grateful for the ride. I myself stand forever in unconsummated and frustrated ignorance. And thankful for the courage to admit it.

ThanksTorqiono! And thanks, Jestmart. I'm sure I have all kinds of boo-boos. I'll probably just have to learn the hard way. I'll close the builder and mixer tabs, (whatever they do) as soon as I find them. Many thanks for bringing it to my attention.

The simplest and last option, (which I naturally tried first, being a firm believer in Occam's Razor, and okay, I admit it, a little lazy.) worked like a charm. I believe I always had all open including THAT damned directory, in the past. But I'm not complaining. From now on it remains closed. A lot of this could be saved if we all rendered the manual and videos to memory. But in reality, who does that? I think my problem was a matter of simple glitches compounded by layering one atop the other. Without the help of actual human interaction, I'd still be wandering in the wilderness. Thanks to you all and to Razor42 in particular for being so patient with my DAZ ineptitude. Without you all, I'd probably have closed Daz for the last time by now.

Thanks Razor42. Again, let me have a little time to absorb all of it. I don't wanna make any wrong moves and make it worse. Try again tomorrow? Thanks for all your effort again.

Okay Razor42. You're a wizard. Although I was in City Limits, When I clicked 'accept', the content library returned to its proper location. Thanks so much. I still seem to have my original issue. Almost all my characters in Genesis were missing. With the exception of Edie 8. (IF I could have saved any other character.....) However, that's my situation. I have screenshots of my library files and others. I made no change to my Library files. However, my predicament occurred when I accidentally clicked on that almost hidden icon in the content pane area that basically collapsed the area. A kind person told me how to find it again and de-collapse the area. That's when my issues started. As I attempted to continue, I realized most of my characters were gone. It's been a wreck ever since.

OK. Now I'm convinced I'm brain dead. I tried every method graciously provided by all of you. None seemed to work. It seems so clear and easy, yet all proved to be unworkable. This is what I mean when I say it seems that almost nothing presented seems to work. Either I am visually challenged (and my eye doc must be lying. He says I have 20/20) or my downloaded version was somehow corrupted. (sigh)

Thanks, Razor42. Yes. Agreed. Re-installing only returns you to your original problem. I have managed to locate my content library, but it appears in my viewport. I can drag it around, but dragging it to its position won't 'dock' it. Can we work on one issue at a time? With my questionable skills at Daz, I could process more that way.
