Subject: 5.1 upgrade

I see at Daz that the new 5.1 update is marketed towards Intel based Macs. However a couple of paragraphs down, it says it also supports windows. My question is,  Is there any point for a windows user to download this or is it strictly Mac?

Secondly, If I have Carrara 5.0 Pro, and  the update is windows supported, will I realize any advantages, or is it mostly just for 4.0 or 5.0 users?

The 5.1 update was issued many months ago by Eovia and is a very good important update for Carrara5. It has nothing to do with Carrara4. Is the update not a free one?

In relation to your first paragraph, you will find the update 5.1 for Windows listed in the download section I am sure.

5.1 also fixes some bugs plus adds a couple of new features. It's worth downloading, regardless of your platform.
