My card was hacked on December 4th. The last time I made a purchase here was September 30th, but it is saved at DAZ and four other stores.
Thread: (OT) I'm Either Incredibly Brave, or Stupid! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow, this thread is upsetting to me. First, for what the security officer did and second for people defending his actions. Acadia, I am impressed by your actions. I would like to think that I would intervene in a similar situation.
I don't know what the laws are in Canada, however I have worked as a security officer in the United States. Here in Oregon, the man could have been charged with assault and would be spending time in prison. Security officers here are not police, they are merely representatives of the property owner and have no more authority than a private citizen. They can make a citizens arrest for crimes they have witnessed and they can defend themselves just as anyone else can, but they can't use excessive force like that. Unfortunately, most security officers have little or no training.
I would suspect that you should be able to press charges against the security officer if you want to, although as I said I don't know the laws of Canada. You should check with the police department if you want to press charges.

Thread: Does anybody have Destiny model by Predator2K? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I am not familiar with this persons works, but it is fairly standard for the Terms of Use for freebies to include a stipulation that they can't be redistributed. If this is the case for files by Predator2K, you may have to try and email him to get the files.
Thread: Heads up, new Image thief. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Since "starving artists" can't afford to hire an attorney for a civil case, has anyone considered pressing criminal copyright charges? If you tell Lycos that you are going to contact the FBI concerning a criminal copyright case, they may take you more seriously. Also, it could stop the art thief for a long time since I believe that they can be sentenced to up to five years per stolen image.
Thread: Height Morphs - the next step for DAZ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What I do is to select Body, then adjust the scale(NOT x, y, or z scales, but the overall scale). This preserves the proportions while making the figure larger or smaller. As far as clothing goes, you don't need any morphs to adapt them. Just apply the same scaling to the clothing as you did to the figure.
Thread: A small reminder - Tower Construction Kit freebie | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The tower set is very nice, and some of your other items look very good too. I was wondering about something though. When I went to your freebies page it said that the tower construction kit was available for comercial renders, but the readme file said that it was only for noncomercial use without special permission. Which one is accurate? If the readme is correct, it would be nice if you could remove the "available for comercial use" note in your freebies section. If the readme file is inaccurate, replacing it with a corrected one would help end the confusion.

Thread: Jacket, pants, and long sleeved shirt for V-3!!! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
I agree that they look nice, but they are way too expensive. I might be willing to pay $30 for the set(pants, jacket, shirt, and boots), but not $50+!
