My added two cents is that I shop artists more than I shop stores. Some of my favorite people here make identical content for both platforms, which I don't really see anywhere else. I don't use Poser, but I've heard about it for 20 years. Somehow it managed to go that long without going the way of megacorp buyout or douchey gimmicks like crypto (or if they have, they've kept it well compartmentalized). That said, I also think the community that Poser has built up over the years is a keener, more patient bunch (most of the time) and I deliberately come back here to actively support that with my wallet. Maybe a miracle will happen and I'll have the money to invest in both worlds, and if that day comes, I already have a backup wishlist ready to go.

Because it sells, and everything that sells on this site supports Poser whether it's meant to be used in that program or not. The vendors here aren't freeloaders, a hefty percentage of what you pay for each product goes to Renderosity. They feature what brings in the money. The vast majority of vendors include enough information to discern which program it's for in the product description, and some even include it in the promo thumbnail, so finding out it's for Daz *after* you click on it is easy to avoid. But like Rhia said, it's fairly easy to filter out, in multiple ways. I certainly don't think that stuff for Poser is a dead art, because a bit more than half of my "the artist you're following released a new product" emails are for Poser.

It's all good. I'm glad to know they'll happen at some point soon, there's a few of those in my wishlist. Thanks for noticing and replying. Have a good weekend.
