I use the small bamboo and have found it fine for drawing (have some 2D stuff in my gallery made with it) - in fact I like that I don't have to move my hand too much, I just zoom higher for detailed work.

... I bet you didn't expect the Spansish inquisition! Anyway, I'll try to use your helmet for something in the next couple of days. Good luck with the opportunity. I'm just grateful to anyone who provides freestuff... it's not like anyone is going to buy my work anyway:)

Hi Chris - it's a very interesting looking... "thing"! If it's anything like your last freebies then I'll definitely want it! That helmet looks well cool too. Thanks for doing what you do

Thread: Best Render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Robert
I'm quite partial to C4D for rendering my Poser images. Besides having better lighitng abilities than Poser it'll also import lots of other file types (eg: 3ds, LWO etc), you can simulate cloth, do modelling etc... A good example of Poser done in C4D is Kromekat's gallery - he does tutes on these in 3DWorld mag. (I've also got some images in my gallery... but check out Kromekat's first!)
It depends on what you mean by "realistic" as Poser figures will only ever be as "real" as their textures - some of the work in Poser itself is amazing because the textures are so good (see FS's gallery) but I struggle with getting anything I'm happy with out of Poser itself.
Anyway, you can import scenes into C4D using Kuroyume's InterPoserPro (still in beta but due out soon) which you can either lift complete Poser scenes or individual characters and props and pose them in C4D (see http://www.kuroyumes-developmentzone.com/)Â

Thread: Why do you render without shadows?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
it's a good question! I guess I can spend up to half the prep time playing about with lighting and getting the shadows "right" (as right as I ever get them! - perhaps the resaon is that lighting in general can be so damn hard, no matter waht software you render in! It looks really strange when you see a figure brightly lit but casting no shadows - looks like they're floating for one thing. The only time you could genuinely get away with this is for a pin-up I reckon

hey, great clothes! (that's not the line, but close) I always heard that the best way to chat someone up was to compliment them. So "nice shoes - fancy a shag then?" has a good chance I reckon...:)

they swam around for me:) but - are you in the habit of swirling your renders around your desktop like that? weird!!

hey now there's an idea - Paris' legs sticking straight out of the window... but I digress:) the only way that I'd be looking to fix the dark area would be to... cheat. ie: doctor the background photo to have a dark area before you place the car in. Probably just borrow the dark area from the Lexus - or simply paint it in. But I'm sure that you'll be looking for a technical solution - so good luck:)
