Cheers Latheguy, found the files. On more thing before I go. A friend of mine wants a tap dancing Stormtrooper for his PC, does anyone have an animation script for poser to do this. I know it's a strange request, but who knows, maybe someone out there has the same warped imagination as my friend.

Just to put this all into perspective, who cares how much it costs, or what it's truly capable of, let's just turn a simple request into another bitch about who cares and who doesn't. If the Lady Cherry would like to send me the model in .Max format, I'll convert it over to .Obj format, and that's all that was needed. Come on you lot, stay with the subject matter.

Couldn't agree more. The only program I've come across that opens Bryce files is another version of Bryce. Prove me wrong PLEASE.

Get UVMapper too. Save the template, load it into your fave graphics program, add texture to just the eyes part, the in the Materials editor of Poser, load that texture for the Eyes only. Similar idea to the Translash map. Hope this helps 8)

I've noticed a slight problem and come up with a workaround for those who wish to export .obj files from Max. I designed a computer chair a couple of days ago, which for some reason when exported via the HabWare plugin, ended up as a single object in Poser. To get around this, I exported the separate parts of the model, loaded them one by one into poser, textured them. Linked them all together, and now I have a great Poser prop. Yes I know the Max format can be a pain, but only for users of other programs. Also there are some .3DS files out there which Poser 4 refuses to load, it doen't crash, you just don't get anything. Can't figure out why, if anyone has noticed this befor could they explain what is happening.

Sorry just checked the map in UV Mapper. Seems you'll need to redo the whole map as although NewEve is based on the P4NudeWoman, the map layout has extra parts added, and some parts are moved to other areas. Get/Use UV Mapper and you'll se what I mean.

Just a quick note as this seems to be drifing somewhat. I understand the reason for you saying that modelling a completely new head using your method, would be the best and most accurate way to produce the look of anyone famous. But as I am not particlarily skilled (patient), as far as spline or path modelling is concerned. I thought the next best thing would be to ask if anyone could help out, and find or even produce the morph targets necessary. I know it's lazy and I should give it a go, but with work and other commitments, things like modelling organic forms are a tad tiresome. When I first tried poser, way back in the days of version 1, I must admit the idea was sound enough but the quality was far from perfect. Now I have Poser 4, and I'm am amazed at how far this little program has come. Many thanks to Nance for pointing me in the direction of Props Guild, although I had visited the site on several occasions, I had failed to see the Ripley character. This model will do just fine, at least for now. Fianlly I do enjoy modelling don't get me wrong. I love to model props such as furniture and the like, and if anyone has a request for such, I would be gald to help out if I can. ( Note there are many tutorials on the modelling of heads, goto 3DCafe for some wicked ones ) Thanks everyone for your help, shall be posting some stuff very soon, probably this weekend, so that you can see for yourselves. Till then cheers.

Tell you what, send me a sketch of what you want, and I'll se what I can do. I was going to suggest searching for a tennis racket, but then I thought maybe not. I'll do what I can. I'll be doing it in Max and will post it after conversion to .OBJ format. If that would be sufficient, please send a sketch ASAP. Here's hoping I can help out a fellow artist.
Thread: WIP: a SEXY vampire, anyone? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Im also working on a vampire, but female. Might I suggest that you use REALEYES, available from Bushi's 3D Website. Also a beard and moustache prop, with trans map would improve the look no end. The sugested tounge bump map is also a great idea. Anyway I think the face texture is excellent, any chance you could post it seperately.
